OXO Collapsible Colander, 3.5 quart, Green

Another great product from OXO. I love the silicone. It cleans easily and flexible and virtually indestructible. It also folds flat so it can fit in drawers. Everyone should have one.

I love this brand and already have several OXO kitchen products including a can opener and peeler. This brand really has proven to be a case of getting what you pay for; their items are slightly pricier than similar equivalents, but appear/look/feel so much better. This strainer has quality feel, made of sturdy, on the thicker side silicone, but still collapses and stores well. I like that the silicone strainer portion is all one uniform piece, almost not appearing collapsible. It seems that this kind of design will resist tears.

I was skeptical, but this product works really well. Love that I can fold it down and stick it wherever, from dishwasher to skinny cabinet. The holes aren't so big that small food flows through, and that's great, but be aware that makes the liquid drain a little slower.

Large volume, easy to clean, collapsible for easy storage

I love this strainer! Goes in the dishwasher to clean after you're done using it, you don't have to worry about noodles going through the holes, strains large amounts of water just fine, and folds flat to store. I would buy this again for sure! Not one regret about purchasing this.

There's good and bad with this strainer so read carefully if the product is right for you. Pros: Collapsible, silicone, and about 1-quart in size. Perfect for vegetables and other items the size of peas or larger. Cons: The holes are too big for washing rice and some other grains. Unfortunately, the holes are exactly the wrong size and everything from long-grain wild rice to short grain pearl rice will pop though the holes as you're rinsing them. You'll want a fine mesh strainer for that job. So it's decent for a small batch of large-bore pasta, but anything the thinness of spaghetti or angel hair will start worming their way through the holes. I keep it around for those jobs but otherwise it's too small for big batches needing to be drained.

I bought as replacement for 10 year old colanders that had just gotten too old. I bought both the smaller and larger one. The holes are smaller as others have mentioned but I see no change in drainage. These colanders are easier to wash. Overall excellent replacements.

By far the best strainer I ever bought all the other ones at some point when you collapse them and stretching back out open it will rip in the middle so far I had this for 2 years running strong nowhere and tear by far the best one I ever had do not be scared or hesitate to buy this one you're going to be more than happy that you did I use it everyday I eat pasta everyday and I'm using this with high heat when I dry my pasta every night never had a problem with it and it is bigger than most collapsible strainers like at Canadian Tire or something

I love this strainer. I was looking for a collapsible one and there were some for a few quid and I was just going to get one of those. But I have the Oxo good grips pizza cutter and I really like it, so I thought I'd give this a go. It was pretty expensive for me but I love it. I used to use a sieve to strain everything and it's not the easiest to clean. But this strainer is honestly a joy to use. I'm so happy with it that my boyfriend teases me for going on about it every time I use it. I sometimes wonder how long the handle will last if I use it for lots of heavy things but I've had no problems so far and it's really easy to clean, collapses down well and opens up into a big strainer. It's great!

I bought the 2 quart strainer with the handle. If you look at the picture at the photos of the strainer, the photo says that the strainer is 20cm deep. This information is wrong. It is only about 10cm deep. I returned the strainer because I needed something bigger and based my decision on their misinformation.

Super higiênico e pela altura permiti uma pboa quantidade interna sem se preocupar em transbordar. Chegou tem 2 semanas, já usei 2 vezes é compacto e estou amando.
