Our new 1042 series is a lighter version comparing to the famous 1041 series models. Here is a comparison: The roofing materials are the same, ie., the slightly sanded high quality polyester peach skin fabric brings both sturdiness and vivid colors to for your viewing enjoyment; All hems on sheers and drapes are made of the same peach skin fabric as the roof so as to present added dotting flavor to the design; All six vertical columns are made of oxidized aluminum alloy for the sturdy support; 1042 series come with the same accessories as those with 1041 series, i.e., 33ft long brass wire decoration LED lighting of 100 diodes; 12 string ties made of the same fabric as the roof to tie lighting or your Christmas pendants to the frame rods. Then why 1042 series and what are the differences? Well, while 1041 series is targeted on high end markets, 1042 is designed to compete in the more economic mass market while still keeping the high requirement for both materials and craftsmanship. So here are the differences: 1042 uses plastic frame rods while keeping vertical column rods in aluminum alloy for better stability and support. (1041 series is of all aluminum alloy frame); 1042 uses 420D polyester oxford fabric comparing to the 600D polyester oxford fabric used in 1041 series. 420D is thiner than 600D but still much thicker and strong than the polyester pongee fabric used in the market; 1042 uses plain American net fabric for all sheers instead of the snow-flake sheers. The fabric is the same but not with the very expensive snow flake flocking; Overall 1042 is a more economic choice than the luxurious 1041(snowflakes) series but still beats our competition hands down in quality.
