Great series for 10 year old girls! My daughter loved this book!
My 10 year old daughter is a huge fan of this series and loved this book! She flew through this book and declared it one of her top favorites. I loved the quality of the hardback and the colors on the dust jacket-- made for a happy girl when she unboxed it! Will be keeping this one for her personal bookshelf.

IN LOVE!
I've been reading this series since I was in 3rd grade. I am way past the age limit, but I still get SO excited when Sarah publishes a new book. I read this in one sitting and I loved how action-packed and thrilling it was! It lets kids use their imagination, (as it is Neverland,) and it's just generally a great book. If you've been reading the series like me, you'll have to agree. I'm not going to spoil anything else, other than you're up for a great adventure! (P.S., I was very sad when it ended, too bad I have to wait for the next book to be published!)

It sadly finally happened...
If your daughter had been enjoying this series and you've thought "yay! A wholesome series with fun rewrites of classic stories and no politics!" Well, this may be the last book in the series for you. The author decided to go ahead and bring unnecessarily adult issues into an elementary grade book series. And, I'll just say, it feels really forced and out of place. It seems as if the author really went out of her way to fit her world view into these kids story and it just doesn't make any sense. The wording is clunky and awkward and not things you'd here kids their age (Abby is 10) talk about.... it's especially not the way these kids talk. Like, can you picture Jonah giving Peter Pan a lecture? And it is a lecture. We are half way through the book... I'm going this is a 1 off or we are done. Just leave kids alone and let them play and have fun.
