I didn't use it on every fill, but I did on the first fill on each trip. I don't want to be struck down with any bugs in water that has been sat in the tank or pipework for weeks or even months. The Truma stuff was very good because it was boiler-friendly. Don't listen to people who tell you to just chuck some Milton in. It will do the job on the water, but it will also corrode the inside of your water heater. But now Truma have stopped manufacturing their water treatment products, apparently something to do with prohibitive testing costs to meet new EU requirements. I don't know why this isn't affected - or perhaps it is and will also disappear soon - but in any event for now it will do as a suitable alternative. I would seek out a water filtration system designed to be used safely for drinking water from rivers, lakes etc. The addition of Aqua Sol albeit a very small amount, wouldn’t do any harm"}}]}]}
