Primrose Featherboard Fence Spikes with Clamps Cat & Bird Security Spike Strips 50cm - Brown - 10 Strips

I wasn't able to order this with prime, so was worried about the delivery. Came quick and is easy to install. Cats don't like it and no birds on the fence either. Bonus if you're often disturbed by them.

I have an outdoor rabbit who the local cats love to torment. So, as a last resort before barbwire (😂), I bought this product. I have tried a few humane products before none of which have worked. However, this has been great. It was so easy to fit to my featherboard fences, are humane (I tested it on myself and though the spikes are uncomfortable they don't pierce skin etc) and best of all the cats have stayed away! My rabbit is well and truly a happy little bunny now!

not easy to attach to the fence

When I opened the pack I was surprised to find that screws were not included, neither were there any instructions.I had to work out for myself which way the brackets folded, not immediately apparent, and halfway through the job I noticed the brackets and spike plates were marked 'O' and 'K' to guide orientation, the plates have to be fitted a certain way to facilitate a strong fixing.I haven't noticed any cat action yet, hope these things work, I'm fed up of chasing other people's cats out of my garden.I was also bemused at being asked to award stars for "sheerness" ????? Anybody?I write this the day after writing the above, one cat appeared hours after fitting the spikes and next door's cat has just come in, jumped up on the (spiked) gate, paused, sniffed the spikes and calmly jumped off after walking a few steps on them.Verdict, a total waste of money!!

Excellent product does what it says on the tin,easy to use (they could have supplied screws,but no big deal) did the job for me stopped the pigeon's.

sturdy, easy to fix (I did it)...doesnt totally stop a determined bird to balance on them, but can be quite amusing to watch them trying...I bought them to stop the birds landing on fence, 'cos the local cat would hide in the bush and nab them as they perched....its stopped the cat!..he can't grip the fence and catch the birds at the same time...perfect. Will be buying more.

These are much better than the cheaper option that sit across my fence panels that have sun bleached already (Less than 2 weeks! :( )I have added a few extra screws, along side the 2 straps per strip, directly through the spike strips for added security.They really are impossible to hold onto and look over the fence and more importantly would be incredibly uncomfortable for anything but the MOST determined bird, or cat!All in all, happy to recommend the product and the seller!

Exactly what I was looking for. The spike are sharp enough to deter cats and as they fit snugly to my fence there is noway they will be able to pick their way along, hence, better get off!! My package as beautifully wrapped, I thought someone had sent me a Xmas present. Very fast delivery. ll in all delighted with my purchase.
