To be able to use this product properly you need to download an app. They say it is free but you have to give them a credit card number to verify your download. It does not say anywhere in the ad that you will have to do this. The product also requires you to use a lightning cable that is not provided with it to make it work. Without downloading the app it does not work very well. Just a waste of time and money.

I have used the adapter to connect my iPhone 13 to a standard HDMI TV display. The adapter requires power from a lightning power supply to operate. In my case, that power also charges my iPhone. It is an inexpensive device that works as advertised with good quality.

We ordered this a month ago and it hasn’t worked once since it arrived. It wasn’t until we received it that we see a small writing on the device that says because of intellectual property rights, it is not compatible with multiple devices, especially Apple products. Do not buy this item. It’s a complete rip-off. We bought it to use with our iPhones for teaching and group viewing on a tv and it does not work at all. I’m pretty upset and feel deceived by the seller.

I have the Apple version of this, but was going to add a second one to keep with my travel gear. I tried to save a couple bucks, but it does not perform as well as the original. Only certain content could be shared, so if all you need to do is look at your pictures on the big screen, this may suit your needs. I travel for work and need to be able for this to display any content I throw at it. I was also concerned that the unit was getting hot after only a few minutes of testing. I use the Apple version all the time and have never had an issue. The official apple product costs twice as much, but to me it is worth it.

I bought a few of these and wondered why even bother sell something if you know, it doesn’t work. Only the dongle’s from Apple really work.

This is the perfect cord! the sound works, the screen on my phone is timed up perfectly with the television screen. Definitely worth the money, I tried getting cheaper ones and in the end had to return them and purchase this one.

I bought this item so that I could stream video from my phone to a computer monitor. Straight out of the bag, it never worked.Tried it on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Tried it on my wife’s iPhone 14 Pro. Tried it on my son’s new iPad. Nothing. Not even “sort of”. I’m always looking for a better deal. But this time I’m going to just spend the money and buy it from Apple. It says it’s Apple certified but doesn’t work on anything I have from apple. So idk
