Works great and got the job done

Purchased this when repairing my table saw. Needed to completely disassemble, clean, and replace bearings. Great tool. Easy to use.

Works as intended, used the large one for a 52mm bearing, it slipped at first but cranked down on the side bolts and it worked.

Purchased this tool for a Honda Manual Transmission rebuild, and replacement. This tool worked well, and I was able to complete it all, but a couple modifications were needed. I was able to pull and separate all the bearings shown in the picture with the exception of one that had to be pulled from the inside. For the price it worked well, and held up to the abuse. However, there were a few issues, modifications required that kept it from being 5-star. First the pulling tool had been damaged or mis-formed. It tapered in toward the outer edges making it difficult to get the adapter pieces to slide through, and would damage the threads on the adapter when trying to slide or insert them toward the outer edge. Second, for some of the bearings, the included bolts were too short to get around the bearings. I was able to get around this by purchasing some 250mm long bolts (Original bolts/nuts are M12x1.75). I was also able to modify the box a little to hold these longer bolts. See pictures for comparison and box modification. Third on the differential bearings the separator would bind because it was too tall and would not get under the bearing, but after a little work grinding them down for better clearance it worked great. See pictures for more detail. For the price it work great, and I would buy again if needed, but be aware it may take some modification to work, and the quality isn’t always great.

Great set for transmission and supercharger rebuilding. Case was shipped in good shape. All parts were there.

This tool was a struggle to use properly when removing a pressed bearing from a Ford 8.8 pinion gear shaft. Firstly, the pullers are a lot thicker than they look in the pictures, and did not fit under the bearing at all. The only option was to cut the race and rollers off and pull on the upper lip of the bearing race. Again, the tool was fidgety to set up for this pull and it broke the lip off in several places - BUT the race did start to budge enough that I could get the tool UNDER then entire bearing race and finally pull it off. It required an impact gun to turn the screw, though! I only needed it for this one job, and it was the least user-friendly of the tools I bought to rebuild my differential. However, it did work in the end, and I hope it works again in the future.

I was extremely pleased with the tool. Great value for the price. Used the guillotine tool to remove bushings on my Dewalt miter saw motor shaft. There was no space between the fan and failed bushing to use arms. Seems to be very versatile with all of the parts provided in the kit. I see many other uses for this kit in the future. The pre-formed box provides a great way to store.

I love the quality of the tools from Orion, I've bought many different kits over the years and they've been great. I'm a licensed tech and have spent large amounts of money on the "trucks" in my day but there are other companies that have quality tools as well, Orion being one of them.
