It's thin metal so be careful not to melt it
I like the brightness and how it's sealed in the back

Perfect for my mule
I have destroyed the taillights on my mule many times. These are welded to the bed and look like they will withstand most anything. They are also bigger and brighter then the originals

Is there a rule against including instructions?
Absolutely NO instructions included of any kind. NO information at all.It isn't until you go back to the listing that you find the wiring, which is non standard to US trailer wiring. And even then, you have to guess from the pictograms how to pry the light units from the grommets to get inside the housing to be able to mount them..

Nice bright lights that work well, thin metal shell
The media could not be loaded. These trailer lights wired up to a four wire harness and worked well, including turn lights, running lights and brake lights (see photos and video). They are quite bright, easy to see day or night. The light cartridges are quite heavy duty. The wires are 18 gage and have nice, thick insulation on them. They are as described in the product description, depending on your definition of “heavy duty steel” boxes, and “included grommets”. The steel shell is 18 gage, not exactly heavy duty. I would expect the need for backup plates or washers at any bolted interface, or very careful welding if attached that way. The large rubber grommets to hold the light cartridges are included, but there are no rubber grommets for the wiring exit holes. You will need to find and add those yourself, unless you are ok with the wires rubbing on the edges of the punched holes in the steel shell. I like the lights. Electrically, they work very well. The steel shell could be ‘beefier’, and in my opinion should include grommets at the wire exit holes.

Nice trailer lights!
Here’s my hubby’s review of these trailer lights:Trailer lights….heavy duty for sure. They do not come with brackets, so you will want to make sure you have them. Installation is a snap. These should brighten up my tail lights. 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

great budget replacements
Our boat trailer hasn't had working brake lights in years. Great replacement lights that the DIY'er can easily install with a few simple tools. You will need to determine where to drill mounting holes, as well as where drill to run the wiring. They are well constructed, lights have plenty of wire on them to attach to existing wiring, and best of all, they work. They do follow trailer wiring - the white wire is the negative, black is constant positive, and red is the switched wire for signals and brakes. I also drilled 3 drain holes in the bottom of each housing. Because we submerge under water when launching, we needed water to be able to drain out.

Super bright and easy to install
They don't go into too much detail on how to install these; its really a no-brainer. The lamps arrive already installed in the black box. The industry-standard sized LED lamps are held into place by rubber grommets. They pop out easy. You just need to pop out the oval one to work on mounting each box. I have installed a few of these now and I just use a stainless steel self-tapping screw into a predrilled hole that goes into the trailer. The construction is thin steel so consider gooping the insides with Woolwax or alike to prohibit any corrosion.

Well-made and easy to install. Bright and clearly seen. Definitely recommended..
Really happy with these 6" LED trailer lights in tough steel boxes. They're well-made and were easy to install. Bright and clearly seen, I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who needs new trailer lights. A great value that'll provide users with years of service..
