I love all of 2 Chick’s and a toolbelt’s paint. The colors are great. I only have to use one coat to achieve a good cover. The color looks like the jar. You know how some paint looks lighter or darker? You can see how it looks on lightly sanded untreated wood. It is exactly the same color! It makes choosing what I am going to put on my work much easier.This brand of paint is the first kind that I have ever used other than a white or cream (i.e. colors) that I did not mix myself. All I had to do was shake the container to make sure the paint was well mixed and then I applied it to my boxes. Always before I would pour some into another container and add different amounts of red or yellow or blue until I achieved the exact shade I was looking for. It was difficult to make sure I made enough for the size box I was making and to put it in a container I could seal to keep it fresh to reuse so I could continue matching the current project. It was nearly impossible to recreate some of the colors I created. With 2C&AT Paints, that is no longer an issue! Their palette is gorgeous to boot!My only negative is that I don’t have enough $ to buy at least 8 ounces of every color they offer. I need to refinish to chests of drawers for our bedroom, and my only problem is choosing which color to use.You won’t go wrong buying this paint!

Ok. I hate to leave a negative review. I have always used Dixie Belle chalk paint. Painted a beautiful Ethan Allen bedroom suit with their white chalk paint that belonged to my parents with a shiny top. It turned out beautiful and the paint smoothed out beautifully. No problems!But I saw this paint and thought I would try it! I am not happy! It is not adhering to the wood well on the shiny tops of my end tables as Dixie Belle did. Yes, I prepped it! It is not covering well even with two coats and I fear it will chip off or peel. Has in one place already. I wish I had not ordered this paint for it is going to be an aggravation as time passes I fear. Listen, I have painted furniture for years. I had a business and we sold many painted pieces in our colonial gift shop. So I am not a novice painter. But Dixie Belle chalk paint is just a great paint to use and I learned my lesson. Stick with what you know and don’t think all chalk paints are the same because they are not!

I purchased this paint to turn an old, free couch into the Friend's TV show couch for a high school graduation party photo booth prop. The paint was easy to use and covered a chocolate brown couch beautifully. I was worried about the paint making the couch very stiff and rubbing off on people's clothing. Nobody even guessed that the couch had been painted and it was soft and looked like fabric. I probably will never need to paint a couch again- but I am glad that I found this paint when I needed it.

I just received this paint in the mail after waiting all week.. it has a giant clump inside that I have poked at and is unbreakable. This paint is completely useless. I have a project to complete in the next 3 days. I have actually bought this brand of paint before, didn't love it but gave it a pass as I was painting outside in cooler weather. Will never purchase again. Also a sticker on the bottom says 6/19. It's March 2020 so I'm assuming it is old? Either way, so disappointed.

This particular canister of paint was not sealed properly . It must of become damaged some how but it wasn’t visible from the outside unopened. The paint inside was a solid mass , As I did not have the chance to start on my project until just now I didn’t notice it when it arrived. The damage to the seal was not noticeable with the lid on at all. I just had to change what I meant to do with the project. My daughter is trying to hydrate it for me.

First time trying this brand, the color Acorn was exactly what I was looking for, a beautiful burnt orange color. The consistency is much thinner than I'm use to, which also led to me having to use WAY more than I wanted. I ordered the 32oz and I've nearly used the whole thing on these 2 tables. It's taken 4! coats to cover it completely with nothing peaking through. Which if you ask me is alittle ridiculous. The dry time is also a little slow, but once dry it does feel very smooth and buttery. I guess if you don't mind painting the same thing a million times it's worth it, otherwise like myself I'm gonna find another brand.

This paint is fantastic so easy to apply easy clean up with just plain water and the coverage is excellent. I could not be happier with the way my old pink chair came out ! I highly recommend this product. I did not use anything but the paint and some water on my brush

I have to say, I’ve purchased a lot of chalk paint and this product is true to color and is easily applied without having the messy water drips and paint drying up so fast. It does take a little longer to dry but saves you time instead of struggling with the water bottle and other paints. I’m going to slowly replace all the other chalk paint I’ve purchased with this brand. I love it!
