I like the banana shake but it is kinda annoying not having any clue what size measurement to use for the powder. I get the Amazon listing says there’s no scoop but I thought the packaging would include similar instructions. I checked Huel’s website and I guess new orders usually include the scoop just not on Amazon. So then Amazon has to list instructions separately. Weird situation.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff after I learned how to properly make it, especially the chocolate, vanilla, and banana flavors. Given the focus on actual science not trendy marketing, it’s the perfect on-the-go meal ONCE you learn how to make it bc it does like to clump and stick to things. The keys are (1) Get a WIDE-mouth blender cup with a removable lid bc you’ll want a large opening to pour the scoop into the cup (getting it into a small opening is a nightmare), (2) pour the water in FIRST and THEN pour the scoop (prevents it sticking to the cup sides), and (3) shake softly at first (otherwise will stick to top) but then HARD and learn to live with inevitable clumps. With two scoops I get at least 2 hours of feeling full plus the satisfaction of knowing I got a nutritionally complete meal.I always take a quart bag of huel (with a scooper and bottle) in my backpack with me when I travel bc it’s the perfect way to have a quick quality meal for cheap on-the-go (especially when good food isn’t immediately available), rather than scrambling for 30min and paying $20 to find and wolf down a meh sandwich. Also great for camping.

Bought this as a”healthy meal replacement “ to try to loose weight or at least maintain the weight I lost already. This did the complete opposite not only not able to maintain but GAINED 7lbs and not even finished the bag. Agree with other comments regarding bad texture and lack of scoop. If they were really trying to lessen their environmental footprint they would also ship in cardboard the scoop is just money saving for them for an already expensive product. Great product! I generally love whey proteins in general but this is insane I love it! The only thing that really “grinds my gears” is the packaging! Scooping at the end of the bag is difficult. I want all the product!

I would have loved to keep taking huel for weight gain, I didn't mind the taste and it is easy to mix up. Unfortunately, I would get an awful migraine shortly after, every time I drank it. Did some research and turns out I'm not the only one. It seems this happens more often with the flavored huel, I would try the unflavored, but I'm too nervous, as this wasn't just a small headache that went away shortly after, but more of a swelling migraine that lasted through the night. I tried to up my water intake, and no luck. I will be throwing out the rest of the pack, I would give it to a friend, but I'd feel terrible if they had the same experience. I would say that it's worth giving a try, but just know that it is not a returnable item through Amazon (understandably so). The only reason I write this review is to share my experience incase anyone else has this happens to them and doesn't consider the corelation right away.

200 cal per scoop with a protein pastry or something satisfies the protein drink and solid food requirement for a really low cost.

I've had some crummy protein shakes in my day. This banana flavor is really good, kind of like a grainy banana daiquiri without the booze. Now, my 5 stars is for the flavor and ease of mix. I just used a blender since I had already grown used to a blender with an alternative protein shake manufacturer before. This doesn't come with a scoop, which is insane considering the cost, regardless of being environmentally conscience. The scoop equates to about 95 ml or approximately 3/4 cup in the USA. You can purchase it on Amazon, just search for "Huel scoop". I'll probably create a subscription for this. If you consume protein shakes as a replacement for a meal, this is definitely worth it.
