All 22 episodes from the fourth season of the award-winning American comedy series set in the fictional 99th Precinct in Brooklyn. Andy Samberg stars as NYPD Detective Jake Peralta, a talented but immature recruit with the highest arrest rate in the precinct. In this season, Jake and Holt (Andre Braugher) attempt to take down a fugitive despite being in a Florida witness protection program, Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) attempts to connect with his adopted son and with the precinct under threat of closure, it's left to Gina (Chelsea Peretti) to save the day. The episodes are: 'Coral Palms: Part 1', 'Coral Palms: Part 2', 'Coral Palms: Part 3', 'The Night Shift', 'Halloween IV', 'Monster in the Closet', 'Mr. Santiago', 'Skyfire Cycle', 'The Overmining', 'Captain Latvia', 'The Fugitive: Part 1', 'The Fugitive: Part 2', 'The Audit', 'Serve and Protect', 'The Last Ride', 'Moo Moo', 'Cop-Con', 'Chasing Amy', 'Your Honour', 'The Slaughterhouse', 'The Bank Job' and 'Crime and Punishment'. Review: GREAT FUN FOR ALL ON THE WAVELENGTH - More over the top merriment - all the way from Jake and Holt undercover in Florida, right up to a climatic trial with a most unexpected result. Highly inventive scripts ensure quickfire gags abound, both visual and verbal - the entire cast on top form and clearly enjoying themselves. Fans will all have their favourites. Mine? Holt with his deadpan delivery. (Good to meet here his mother, this explaining a lot.) Worth special mention is Episode 16, with its rare focus on a serious matter currently very much in the news. None other than racism rife in the police force. Here Sergeant Terry experiences it himself when not in uniform. With no cause whatever, a racist white cop is deliberately belligerent, clearly hoping for a reaction that can "justify" arrest. (A reminder here that the show has previously indicated how colour and sexuality reduce prospects of promotion.) Overall, though, the show offers a most welcome opportunity to lighten up, to relish much that is outrageous and often downright stupid. Devotees would not have it otherwise. Review: Item as described - Such a great programme, better than Scrubs there are no whiny characters, all the characters are strong, all funny when they hang out at work and outside just as funny in more ridiculous ways unlimited.
