Item looks great online, however, in reality it's just a standard floppy notepad with a nice image on the cover and, as such, overpriced in my opinion. Adequate if you just want to keep your own notes on recipes (but then why not just use a regular pad for half the price). Sadly, I bought this as a gift for someone and it's just not up to par for that purpose.

These are nice books but they are paperback. It does say this in the specs but it was something I failed to notice. The pages are an adequate size for most recipes

As other reviewers reviews, would be better with a tougher cover. Otherwise, pretty cover and useful pages inside.

I needed a new thing for writing recipes down - I had a card index which was falling to bits. This is now installed with my other books and is very useful

Really like this for my recipes, I already have one (hardback) which is full to overflowing, so my extra recipes will now find a home, probably have to oder another one as 100 pages are hardly enough. I'd like to find one with twice the number of pages & in hard cover.

Useful for weighting favourite recipes with room for own notes, practical and easy to use

Lovely pattern on front cover, but thinner than expected.

Great recipe journal, super cover - but only for those who are interested in cooking, trying out recipes, entertaining, etc.
