BrocatoShimmer Platinum Spray

Ive used this product in the past and it was great. This time there was hardly any sparkle, I had to look really hard to even see anything. thumbs down

Good news: The product itself is definitely worth 5 stars. Affordable and glisten-y without being too juvenile. Two spritzes on a finished 'do and you are 'special occasion shimmery'. Would I wear this to work? No. I reserve it for fun outings only. Nonetheless, it is not a teenage glitter bomb.I sported this on my up-do for New Year's Eve and my girlfriends (all in our 40's and 50's!) were like, "OMG, she's glowing!". When the light catches and illuminates the ultra-fine sliver particles, it does indeed, look like your coif is glowing.Bad news: I've ordered two of the smallest sizes of this and both bottles clogged after just a few uses and no amount of hot water or canned air could unclog them. I transferred the contents to a spray bottle I bought for my travel bag and that solved the problem. Quality control needs to address this.

This is my second bottle I love this for special occasions, or going out. I’ve even worn to work. The sparkles are small and not gawky. Perfect for my daughter when she went to father daughter dances and now high school dances.Shake well before using, and it is slightly sticky; it feels like a light hair spray all over. If the spray gets clogged, rinse out by placing the sprayer in hot water and spray until clear, then place sprayer back on bottle.

I gave this spray 3 stars because it's too heavy on the glitter for me and a little oily. You get plenty of product though. It depends on how obvious you want it to look.

I used to use this product about 10 years ago and loved it. It left a nice shimmer with fine platinum glitter effect and virtually no residue. I ran out of product then forgot about it after moving across the country. I was so pleased to rediscover it and bought a bottle but very disappointed with it now. I have tried it 4 times on my hair and there isn’t even the slightest hint of a shimmer or any glitter. They must have changed the product.10/15/21I discovered the shimmer spray looked pretty on my arms so started using it that way. Four days later the pump top stopped working as others have reported and I had rinsed off the top after each use. So now the bottle sits there idly mocking me!

This product is wonderful! I have black hair that has gray starting to mingle in, and this product makes the gray hair like like silver threads, with very tiny sparkles catching the light. The glitter is so small, it really doesn't look like glitter, but that your hair sparkles. I love it for special occasions. products from this storefront arrive very quickly, too, even across US!PS, rinse the nozzle off after using and keep cap on when storing and it won't clog up!

This is definitely a more subtle shimmer than the aerosol can sparkle sprays that you might use for halloween or a party. I really like it. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the spray bottle broke during the 2nd use so I have to replace the bottle. Not a huge deal but a little annoying.

Bought this for my teenage daughter. She loved it. The pump can clog. That would be my only change.
