Odysea Gigantes Beans in Tomato Sauce 2 Kg, (Pack of 1)

These delicious giant beans in rich tomato sauce inspired me to make the best beans on toast I've ever had, I used fresh bread and heated the beans with fried chorizo, the flavours were divine. The tin is huge so it's great value for money, I split into several smaller containers for easy storage once opened and look forward to many great breakfasts over the coming weeks. Great quality, great flavour.

I have to thank all the people who left positive reviews for these beans. I was very wary of ordering 2kg of them but I have to agree, you can get through a tin in a week! They are absolutely delicious and we now eat them as an addition to salads, as well as on their own or with cheese or bacon for lunch. The beans are a lovely smooth texture and the sauce is a bit like baked beans but with more flavour and without the unpleasant sweetness. I tried another brand but they were nowhere near as nice.

Tasty beans on toast with some grated cheese , only down side is they cannot be frozen but worth it as a treat once a month.

Product is great as have been this brand for many years but sadly Amazon haven't got a clue who to box a 2kg can by placing it in a thin single wall box with no packing material to fill the void space. Resulting in a broken open box and dented can upon arrival

I’ve bought these for years as they’re the most similar to ones I eat in Greece and the tin is a good size. But the last batch were far far too salty and almost inedible. Sometimes they’re creamy and tasty sometimes salty and too acidic and tomatoey. It’s a risk.

By far the best Greek been in a tomato sauce 🍅I used to get them in a super market in a small glass jar for a much higher price. Because of the lockdown I searched them on Amazon and was so happy to find a much bigger, much better value in here. Don't let the size scare you, they are so tasty you will be licking and dipping till it's finished 😁

These beans are a great meal in themselves. Either cold or hot. But by adding veg of choice you can make what you want.It looks an enormous amount in the tin but they are so tasty in themselves without adding other veg that you want to eat more of them than you think. And they won’t last . In my house they will last a fortnight and there are only two of us .
