I have used these bulbs before and when I moved into my new house they were my go to choice. They have an exposed filament and look very attractive, please see the photo. The clear glass bulb produces a great amount and quality of light. They cost a lot less than single exposed filament speciality bulbs and I consider them to be an excellent compromise between look and cost. Having had these bulbs before I know that they last for years.

I use these bulbs for work when swooping out old CLF or incandescent bulbs. I find them nice and bright and a nice glow - not too yellow and not too white.

These are easily the best replacement for 60w tungsten GLS (General Lighting Service) lamps. It's a pity they don't last long enough to justify their price, the gains from lower power consumption being swallowed by the expense of the lamp. It takes at least 166 hours of use at 30p per kWh to break even when compared to the tungsten lamp which cost about 20p to buy. Some of the lamps don't last anything like this long. If the lamp fails before 166h or the kWh cost of electricity is less than 30p the saving is reduced or it takes longer to reach break even point.. For old tungsten lamp - 60w x 100hrs = 6000 watt hours. 6 kwh at 30p = £1.80 For new LED lamp - 7w x 100hrs = 700 watt hours. 0.7 Kwh at 30p = 21p That''s a saving of £1.59 per 100 hours of use, so after 166 hours you will save £2.65 in electricity cost, i.e. the cost of the lamp.

These LED bulbs are certainly more aesthetically pleasing than CFLs and extremely bright. I was surprised by the amount of light emitted from an 11 Watt bulb and, as they are now a reasonable price, have placed one in every room. It is too soon to say they are energy efficient especially as Winter will soon be with us and the heating will be switched on. It is also too soon to make a comment on longevity as I have only recently bought the bulbs. They are supposed to last for years, so I am hoping that they do. I have never been one for leaving lights on all over the place, so perhaps they were not a necessary purchase for me but, at present, I am glad I have bought them. They are , at least, better for the environment than previous light bulbs. Recommended .

Des ampoules B22 (à baïonnette) que j'ai achetées pour les parties communes de ma copropriété. Elles éclairent très bien et très vite (pas de temps d'attente avant éclairage fort). En plus d'être à un prix compétitif à l'achat, elles permettent de faire des économies sur la consommation et c'est bon pour la planète. Elles sont en place depuis aujourd'hui. J'espère qu'elles dureront 15 ans comme indiqué ! Celles que j'ai achetées il a 3 ou 4 ans marchent très bien. Je recommande fortement ces ampoules surtout que les B22 vont sûrement disparaître dans les années à venir. Faîtes votre réserve.
