Castor Oil Eye Drops - Pharmaceutical Grade

I've just reordered a second bottle of this. The first lasted me about 3 to 4month, putting two drops in each eye every night. It comes with a 6 month expiry date from opened. I think i could make it last longer this time, maybe missing a night or even one drop per eye. I found this an incredibly positive oil to put in my eyes. Everything about it from the very first application felt wonderful. I bought it because from time to time i got redness in the lids and a bit of conjunctivitis..Last time one of my eyes seemed to get a little swollen. So thought i needed to take care more of my eyes. I started off with the usual antibiotic drops from the docs, which didn't make too much difference. Then i proceeded to use cleansing eye drops to try to keep my eyes in better shape, but again not much, other than they looked a little clearer after i'd applied it. Still got itchy eyes. So i decided to try these castor oil eye drops, and from the moment of first application i knew it was a game changer. The smell of the oil is something very pleasant to me, and i swear i seemed to sleep better. You drop the oil in the eye, then any overflow you just rub it round the lid and socket. This moisturises the eyes really well. It is noticeable and your eyes can look a little different after you start using it. Ive never had any bouts of conjunctivitis since. My eyes look much better, well maintained, and i also don't seem to get tired eyes anymore later at night through being on screens, which was something that always plagued me a little. Seems to have disappeared altogether. I also see that my eye lashes on the bottom of my lids have regrown in again a little. They had completely disappeared on the bottom lid after the bouts of conjunctivitis. After i ran out of the first bottle i tried applying a different brand i had. This was not specifically for the eyes, though it said it could help with eyelash regrowth so thought it could do no harm. Though it seemed similar in texture etc, i've noticed it just doesn't seem as good as this brand. Which is why i have come back for a second bottle. Overall great stuff.. I'll probably continue using it for the foreseeable future. If you want to give your eyes some care and attention, you can't go wrong with this.

Excellent. I noticed the improvement the next day after use. Itching, dryness & floaters all improved. Such a relief! These drops are definitely worth a try for those suffering from dry eyes & the problems it causes!

I started using Castor Oil drops 2 years ago each time my eyes felt sore and my vision wa blurred. It works wonders to soothe the eyes and reduce the blurring vision. Most opticians and chemists dont know about the soothing properties of castor oil so it is only possible to get it on line via Amazon at the moment.

I can't really say at the moment. I used it at night a couple of times. Be aware, because it is oil, it sticks to the applicator, so get oil dripping .Best to wipe before you use it. Or just instil the oil that drips off. My eyes feel less the dry in the mornings. But it does feel to be quite a heavy oil.

Very tricky to use these oil drops without spilling significant amount. You have to squeeze all of the content into the bottle out of the dropper before even approaching your eye and you have to spin the dropper as if there is a drop of honey on the tip and you are trying to get it to stay there. The product is good,I am using it for eye infection that went chronic and looks like blepharitis. The improvement is slow,but steady and noticeable. I do two or three applications a day after washing the eye with tea tree soap first. Any excess the flows outside the eye I gently rub into the skin. You MUST give it time and patience. It doesn't work overnight with one or two applications only. The dropper seem idiotic and inaccurate,but if it was made pointy for better accuracy of the application,there would have been risk of sharp injury to the eye so I understand why it is done in such way.

I bought these drops in 2019 so this is a very belated review. I had cataracts in my left eye and Moorfields hospital had offered me surgery as I’d lost about 5 lines of vision on the eye chart. With lockdown - non-urgent eye appointments didn’t happen. Well I used this oil before bed - it’s sticky and you can’t see a thing with it in. I cannot even remember how many nights I used it - but less than a whole bottle. My normal vision has returned and I appear to no longer have cataracts. I kind of just forgot about them so I can’t even say how long it took. This is supposedly impossible. I recommend to give them a try but test carefully the first time as some people have a painful reaction.

I have very dry eyes. I have tried a multitude of different drops, some have been good, others not so. This product promised so much. It was thick and initially coated the eye and moisturised it. I put one drop in each eye, rubbed the eyelids and it really helped. It lasted a long time and did not need to be re-applied. It was wonderful. After 24 hours of use, I experienced the most incredible pain in my right eye. It felt like a burning/stabbing pain. It was about 2.30 am and I had to get out of bed and wash my eye. It was bright red and I had an obvious reaction to it. It has taken over a day to calm down. The leaflet it comes with does warn that some may experience a reaction. I have stopped using it after just 2 nights. Whilst this could be great, as it did moisturise the eye and it lasted without any re-application, the fact you can get a bad reaction to it means I can only give it 1 star and a recommendation to avoid it.

Its soothing

I tried them immediately after receiving the parcel. They work very well for dry eye problem. The instruction says to use at bed time if needed. 1 to 2 drops. I found 1 drop was sufficient for me. After applying close the eyes and rub the residue that leaves the eye around the eye lashes and fine wrinkle areas. I have discovered that the eye sight clears up after blinking a few times. I am totally satisfied with the purchase at this point and will recommend it.
