Good mouse, good seller support
Have been using the mouse for nearly a month now. Track ball needs a little getting used to, but not a big deal. Build quality of the mouse is good. Fits well for my palm size. Connectivity with other devices is hassle free. Switched off the RGB lights around the track ball as its a distraction and battery drainer. Overall battery back-up is quite good.Seller's support when the shipping got delayed is incredible - they were prompt in reply and addressed the issue well.

Space saver with unique design elements (but hard scroll wheel)
Excellent choice for those with space-constrained tables where you cannot move the mouse freely. Those coming from the regular mouse would require some getting used to, but once you become comfortable, you would really like this thumb-operated trackball (designed for right-handed people). The RGB lighting effect around the ball is quite nice and a dedicated button to change the light effect (5 of them including complete off) is useful without needing extra software to install. To save battery, the lights turn off after a few seconds of non-usage of the trackball. The trackball supports USB type-C charging and a single charge lasts for more than a month (could be more depending on the usage). It has back/forward buttons as well, but can be customized for other actions too. There is a dedicated button to change the DPI which in turn controls the mouse cursor moving speed, which again doesn’t need app to be installed. The trackball supports both radio signal (via a USB type-A receiver included in the box) and Bluetooth connectivity. Another dedicated button at the bottom helps to turn the trackball on/off to save battery. You can tilt the base of the trackball to about 20 degrees if needed, for natural wrist alignment, or keep it flat. Please note that the ball socket and the miniature rolling balls inside that socket need periodic cleaning (as in any trackball), esp. if used in a dusty environment or the thumb is oily/dusty, otherwise the mouse cursor movement may not be smooth.Slightly heavy though but it doesn’t matter since we are not going to move it around to use!Device works out of the box with Windows and Mac.The reason why I dropped a star is that the scroll wheel is hard to roll and it requires some index finger pressure to scroll the wheel. If you have a large content to scroll, it can become little uncomfortable to scroll after a while. For comparison, Logitech trackball scroll wheel is butter smooth and needs little finger pressure!

Unique experience, very ergonomic, but poor performance and precision
I had a hand injury and wanted to try a trackball mouse since I have heard that it is very ergonomic. I wanted to buy the Logitech Ergo MX but this wasn't available in India anywhere that I looked. I finally settled for the ProtoArc EM01 which seems like a clone of the Logitech. The mouse is large and feels very good in the hand. Compared to the MX3 that I own, it is massive. The buttons are also very quiet and top quality. Overall the build is very nice.It is difficult to get started with and you'll need some time to get used to the feel of this mouse. Many time I have inadvertently tried to move the mouse due to force of habit. Luckily the anti-skid base is very good and the mouse refused to budge. This also frees up a lot of space on the desk since you don't need to move the mouse and hence can do away with the mouse pad and the space that it occupies. This is really great. Now that I have got used to a trackball mouse, I find this very easy on the hand and great for managing pains. The mouse also has an additional 20 degree tilt which keeps the hand in a more neutral position. However, while I wanted exactly this, I found that the neutral position suits me the best. Finally the biggest disappointment for me was that the mouse is not at all smooth to use. The trackball is very sticky and the mouse cursor is not at all smooth for small movements. Such as when you want to click the close button on the corner of the window. It is very hard to precisely move the cursor and the cursor jumps when you try to move the mouse slowly. So this mouse is not suitable for design / photoshop work and definitely not recommended for gaming. It is sufficient for general programming and browsing work only. As long as this is your use case, I will recommend this mouse, else you should consider something else.
