Go slow
They are brittle so be careful that's just how cobalt bits are, they won't tolerate bending or biting off more than they can chew. I'm drilling through 4 10.9 hardened steel bolts (seized subframe bolts) I drilled through one so far. Use oil, go slow, push kinda hard, keep it straight and clear the chips and your good. Stop often and add more oil and don't let it get hot.

I wouldn't buy again
Not as great as advertised. I tried to drill thru some steel L and the bit would not go through. I use a lot of drilling oil and it didn't matter.

Small number of bits but for pilot holes its perfect!
Not a huge selection of sizes but for pilot holes? Great! These bits cut like a hot knife through butter. I'm pleased with this purchase.

I broke few small bits in my favorite drill set over the years. They cut through anything. I tried a couple of other bits but just never found any as tough. I found this these on Amazon and replaced all the broken ones which worked out cheaper than buying a entire new set or buying them individualy. They are excellent and just as tough.
