Tools may be difficult to handle, but it gets the job done.
It took me around an hour to get the joystick replaced on my Quest 2 controller, and while the L torx tool is one size too big, everything still works. The joystick itself will look like it's misaligned at first, but you have to re-calibrate the joystick for it to work properly. You'll want to do both 'Joystick Angle' & 'Joystick Range & Deadzone'.

Great replacement for the Oculus joystick drift!
Great replacement, even better because its a 4-pack, I've heard that if you buy a 2 pack there's a chance that even the new joysticks will come a defect so why not just buy 4 in case?

Perfect for Oculus quest 2 controller
let me start by saying I've been dealing with the stick drift for about a month. I've become so used to it I'm able to still play with it but it is a bit annoying. I've tried everything! Zeroing in the joystick did not do anything at all. It was only my left controller. Looking online I found thisI had found a video on youtube, about 5 minutes showing how to do it. It's pretty simple just don't lose the screws! And keep track of where you took them out of.Is drawing a simple diagram of the top of the remote, and actually push the screws through the paper to hold them in place so I knew exactly where they came fromWorks perfect! Just like new. I was worried I was going to have to buy a new controller. They're like $150 new! That's crazy SMH. It would have force me to just get an upgraded system since I'm going to have to buy a new one anyway. But this work perfect. Came with the tools for it and everything. Just take it easy getting the face plate off around the buttons as there is an adhesive. Also the ring that goes around the controller has a little bit of glue. Just take it easy! Don't break anything

Mixed bag by far.
I purchased the replacement Oculus Quest 2 joystick kit hoping to solve the stick drift issue I was facing. The good news is that the kit comes at a reasonable price and includes essential tools like the T5 driver, tweezers, plastic pry tool, and even replacement screws. However, my experience was a mixed bag. The stick drift problem did improve initially, but I noticed that it resurfaced after about 2500 button presses on all three replacement sticks I used. This was disappointing as I was hoping for a more long-lasting solution.Another issue I encountered was the lack of a T4 screwdriver, which was necessary for the replacement process. This forced me to source the tool separately, causing a bit of inconvenience. Furthermore, the tolerances on the replacement sticks were a bit sloppy, causing the button click to deviate by around 2mm after only 1500 actuations. This affected the overall gaming experience. On the positive side, the kit does provide good value for money, given the $20 price tag for four sticks along with the provided tools and replacement screws. However, the need to replace the sticks every couple of weeks due to wear and tear became quite a hassle, especially considering the difficulty of the repair. In summary, the replacement Oculus Quest 2 joystick kit offers a decent solution to stick drift initially, but its longevity and button click tolerances could be improved. If you're looking for a temporary fix and don't mind frequent replacements, this kit might, and I mean *might* work for you.

WORKS WITH RIFT-S
Purchased these 2 days ago and arrived today. Just replaced my Rift-S thumbsticks. THEY WORK PERFECT!Seems not a lot of people know you can't swap these out.I happened upon ONE thread where one person said they tried it and they work.Well, I can confirm. If you have drifting Rift-S thumbsticks, THESE WILL FIX IT! Quest 2 thumbsticks DO WORK!Just be prepared for aggravation and sore fingertips...the operation isn't easy. But it is DEFINITELY worth it!They're straight up 1 to 1 replacements. You don't have to modify anything. It's the disassembly and reassembly that is so hard.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
