rich and thick but no greasy or heavy feeling once absorbed
I remember years ago hearing about this brand, and that a lot of "models" use this particular brand from France. I have since been using this brand on and off for quite a few years now and just recently tried another face cream from this anti aging line. Since this isn't a brand I normally see at my local drugstores, I'm glad Amazon carries it.This nutri-vitality cream has a thick and rich texture, and will require a little more effort to massage and absorb into the skin. A little goes a long way so don't scoop up too much to start with. You can always add more as needed, after you've worked and spread this cream onto your face. Once absorbed, it doesn't feel greasy, oily, or tacky, which I am quite happy about. My face feels deeply moisturized. This does have that signature scent, a light floral fragrance, not too overwhelming. That said, "not too overwhelming" could still be overwhelming to some, especially if you are someone who doesn't like fragranced skincare. If you don't want any fragrance in your face creams then you might not like this as it has added fragrance. Fragrance is often to be expected when it comes to European skincare products as this is Made in France.I didn't see the ingredients list posted yet so here it is, in case you want to see what's in this stuff.Ingredients: AQUA (WATER). Potent cream for dry skin
This is a pleasant, thick (but not heavy) cream suitable for morning or evening use; I expect most people will want to use it in the evening. There is very little that's novel or innovative about the product itself: it contains ceramides and fatty acids (notably macadamia oil), which are readily available in similar products. The Nutri-Vitality's claim to superiority, however, is highlighted on the packaging: "with red maple extract." Although red maple (acer rubrum) hasn't been studied as extensively as many other ingredients, it is an antioxidant that appears to have a beneficial effect on skin cells. However, red maple is one of the last ingredients on the list (17 out of 20 if I counted correctly) so I question whether there's enough red maple to have an effect. By comparison, perfume is #12 on the list.Speaking of the perfume...I have used a number of Embryolisse products, all sharing a unique fragrance that I associate with that line. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, and one whiff transports me to the Galleries Lafayette or Le Bon Marche. So for me, this isn't just a night cream but a quick trip to Paris -- the best part of Paris, the one without pickpockets and petty thieves.Plus, as a francophile, I adore having products that broadcast their claims in French: "97% des femmes trouvent leur peau en pleine forme." My education in French stopped at age 16, and when I try to speak the language, the locals laugh at me. Not so this cream. It's very French, and yet together we are très charmantI like the way it feels on my skin. I'm not sure it will rewind the skin clock, but it is an effective moisturizer, plus it's French. Je l'aime.

Very rich cream, does wonderful things for my skin
I really love this moisturizer from Embryolisse. I've been using it morning and night with good results. It only takes a small amount to cover my face and neck. The cream is very dense in the container and almost melts on my fingertip to provide just the right amount. It feels odd in the jar. But it goes on smoothly, and evenly, and leaves my skin feeling protected and soft. I also find that it makes a wonderful base under my foundation. There is a fragrance, as others mentioned, but I find it to be delicate and not overpowering. It goes away quickly after application. This jar of Nutri-Vitality contains red maple extract, the latest trendy ingredient in skin care. I'm more interested in ingredients such as ceramides, which this product includes. I have no idea if the red maple extract helps or not. What I primarily care about with a skin cream is how well it absorbs without completely disappearing. I like feeling moisturized and protected, and this cream does that perfectly well. This is my first experience with a product from Embryolisse. I've heard of the brand from the dermatologists at Doctorly so I believe it's a good quality brand. I'm pleased with the quality and performance of this cream.
