Excellent Product! Value For Money!
Personally I love this spinach. There is no water worth mentioning and the can is filled with solidly packed spinach to the rim. The quality is excellent and the taste good. It’s mature spinach, cooked on the day of picking. Makes excellent creamed spinach, is great in muffins, omelettes etc. I recommend D’Aucy spinach and give it 5 stars ⭐️. I could not find one thing to complain about except it would have been perfection if it was organic too.

Really pleased!
I'm disabled and don't have much energy so need to rely on things I can keep in the cupboard and cook easily. These have been very useful and I'm glad I bought them. They're perfect for stews, curries, and Greek dishes like spanakopita and spanakorizo. Pros: Good taste, large tins with enough spinach for two meals, none of the tins arrived dented, good value for money. Cons: The tins are very difficult to open; once I break the seal with the tab I have to slide a knife under the lid and pry it off which is a hassle and not particularly safe - I haven't found this with D'aucy's other tinned veg so it's just the spinach, one of the tins I ordered was visibly bulging which obviously makes it unsafe to use and makes me a bit concerned about quality control. This was only one tin though and the others were in perfect condition.

Is this spinach?
When I joined the navy, I never wanted to be Popeye. I never wanted to eat/drink what Popeye ate/drank either. THIS is what Popeye ate/drank. If indeed, this is spinach, it is the spinach that had to be masticated for a toothless old sailor to enjoy, not for a fully toothed middle aged ex-sailor to enjoy. It's sloppy, tastes blander than an NHS waiting room and despite, I suppose, being quite good for you, is about as enjoyable as having a tooth pulled without anaesthetic. Sorry D'aucy, I can't recommend this unless it is being used in a Mulligan's gruel.
