Bates Combination Wall Plate, Decorator/Blank, 2 Gang Switch Plate, White

These plates are awesome. Love the glossy look and very easy to install. The best part is that it solves a major problem for me: unused fan switches. Lots of houses have unused fan switches, and even ceiling fans these days often can’t be wired separately. Enter this plate. I capped off the unused wires and pushed them back, then threaded the existing screw and hole alongside my fan remote. Absolutely perfect fit. There needs to be a hole in the middle, so I used a self centering 1/8 drill bit to drill it out, stuck another white 6/32 plate screw on there, and used a nut with locking nylon on the back to secure it. Now it looks like it was always supposed to be there. Amazing. So proud of myself for coming up with that silly solution.

Matches the rest of the wall plates that I have at home, makes it feel like you got a full set with all the different outlets. Couldn't find something like this in store, so just what I needed online. It was so easy to just screw in the plate to the outlet. Definitely hope that it will hold up like the rest of the ones I have. It just fits the right size and sturdy plastic material needed. No need to worry about the metal behind it.

This Bates combination plate was just what I needed and was of course easy to install. The size fit and it was a great value. I couldn’t find it locally, so luckily Amazon had a way to get it.

Great value. I tried finding this at Home Depot and found the tan color only. This white color is perfect for the house. It has a smooth look and feel. Great quality, comes with the screws needed. Cleaning it is a breeze.

Glad to find this on Amazon as the big box store didn't have it. Quality is good, good price.
