Simple and easy illustrations, good selection of words, fun to read for children.

We have had several of these in different languages, great as an introduction, or for revision of vocabulary.

This picture book is an excellent way to jog my memory of basic French vocabulary!

Great book. 👍 My kids like to look at the pictures. Thrilled that there’s an additional resource on the usbourne page of a native French speaker recording each word. So I can help my kids pronounce the words correctly, even though I don’t speak French (yet.)

Both my grandkids like it one is five one is eight and the get French twice a week and this has helped them.

Thought this would be a great backup for the French course I am undertaking. Nicely laid out and easy to read. Picture back up helps to retain the information. I can even look for the duck if I get bored! Probably great for kids too

Loved this when I received it. Lovely colour illustrations with French words next to the pictures they represent. Makes learning French fun. My 3 yr old points to the pictures when asked in French or English. Has the yellow duck throughout to spot as standard of Osbourne books. Highly recommended for beginners and for children to help with basic French words. Has house scenes, farm, etc.

I bought it as I want to be able to read basic French and build up my knowledge.

This is a good book. I accidentally bought the one which didn't include 500 stickers. Equivalent book is available in other languages too. I wanted the stickers to make flash cards for French language learning.

Has photos and the names of objects in the house as well as foods, colors, etc.. Get this book if you want expand your everyday French vocab

As a beginner this book helps to learn basic words along with some nice pictures to remember them.

Es un libro completamente visual y práctico para empezar con el vocabulario de francés. A mi hija le ha encantado y jugamos a encontrar la palabra adecuada en los dibujos.

I used this book with my son thirty years ago, and it’s as good as ever. Great for our eight year old granddaughter learning French.
