We have soft natural stone in our shower, and this product creates a great water seal. We tried other products and they did not last long. Three coats of this and water naturally beads on the surface. Easy to apply. After six months the stone does not absorb water. Excellent.

I have used this for two applications (once per year) and about to use it a third time of granite. Very easy to apply, no issues.

2/2022: my shower and bathroom are still well sealed. I still haven't gotten around to the kitchen grout yet but I will definitely be using this product.The water still beads up on the bathroom grouts.2019: I bought a pint to use for my shower tile, floor in the bathroom, and my kitchen backsplash and window sills.I finally got around to the shower yesterday. I used a foam craft brush to apply to sealant. I don't recommend that form of application because it caused a lot of foaming. However, since I didn't have anything else to use I continued with it.I applied the sealant as per the directions. Let it sit about 3 - 5 minutes and wiped it off the tiles. I only needed to seal the grout as the tiles didn't need to be sealed. After I sealed the grout in the walls I sealed the floor grout. I have a pebbled floor and again, just needed to seal the grout.After I completed the floor and wiped up the excess I waited about 2 hours and repeated the process.The smell didn't bother me until I sat in the living room after completing the task. I got a sore throat and my nose became plugged. I closed the bathroom door and lit a candle in the living room. That took away the odor.This morning I couldn't smell it at all. I dripped a little water on the shower floor and wall and it beaded up perfectly.I had to order a quart more so I can do the remaining grout areas. As soon as it arrives I'll finish the bathroom floor, kitchen backsplash and window sills.Ok, it's been five days since I sealed my shower and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO WEAR A MASK. I have had a sore throat and nasal passages since about 6 hours after using the product. Now, that's completely my fault because I read the directions and they clearly say to wear a mask and open windows and doors and use the fan if you have one.I sealed the bathroom floor grout yesterday. I really like how the water beads up now!Next will be the kitchen grout!I highly recommend this product. Other than needing a face mask and opening windows and turning on the fan, it's a wonderful product.

This works very well and a little goes a long way! It was able to seal and protect the travertine around my pool. Perhaps the only thing keeping me from rating it 5 stars is that it seems pricey for the size and does not include any type of applicator.

I've tried Stonetech, Granite Gold and two or three other sealers. Don't waste your time. This stuff may be expensive, but it is worth every penny. It seals the granite and reduces the occurrence of stains. Water beads on the countertops and can sit 24 hours without soaking in. Before I used this stuff, even water soaked into my granite leaving dark marks that would take hours to evaporate. I just used a paintbrush to apply, let it sit for 3 minutes, wiped off the excess, waited an hour and applied a second coat. That was it. No long curing time and it works. Miracle Sealants Porous Plus is wonderful stuff.PROS- excellent seal- does not need a long curing time like other sealants- easy to applyCONS- expensive (but worth the money)- can darken very light granite; be sure to test a small section before applying over the entire surfaceBuy it especially if you have new granite and use it before you use the granite. It will keep it beautiful and stain free (with a bit of care of course).

Excellent stuff! We bought a brand new construction house and one of the first things we were told is that grout will need to be sealed. Over 1,500 sq. ft of grout, not to mention backsplash areas in the kitchen, and bathroom walls. I wanted to cry. I looked into hiring someone to do it for us, but with all the expenses related to a new house, I decided to give it a try myself first. After researching options I settled on this product. The tile didn't need to be sealed as it was porcelain (or so the internet says), but all the grout did. I held my breath and dove right into it. Much to my surprise, it was very easy to apply with a grout roller bottle purchased separately. I wiped the area with a white cloth after letting the product sit on the grout for a few minutes. It does smell like heck when you apply it, but the smell dissipates within a few hours I would say. I tested the job in the master bath and I was thrilled to see the water beading on the surface of the tile and grout and the grout staying completely dry. It did not change the color of the grout at all. I highly recommend this product. If I could do it on my own, anyone else can as well!

Disappointed in the product. I have used the regular 511 and contacted the company as to whether this would be a better choice for my natural stone tile shower and was told it would. I applied 3 coats while letting dry in between for maximum benefit but wasn't impressed. The regular 511 was far better at preventing staining and keeping the shower cleaner much longer. It was very expensive for a small container and not impressed.

I used this to seal the marble decking around our pool. We noted that it stains easily with leaves, dirt, etc. This is easy to apply and dries quickly. Does not change the look of the marble, but does make it more water resistant. It does seem to prevent stains to a great extent and makes it easier to clean. It does not make the marble shiny, but was not expecting that. Will plan to reapply at least once per year.
