Perfect for Minor Repairs on Collectible Statues!
The Simply 50139 J-B Weld PlasticBonder in black was perfect for a minor repair on my first 4 Figures collectible statue. It bonded strongly and seamlessly, matching the black finish so well that the repair is barely noticeable. The adhesive sets quickly and cures to a tough, durable finish, which is essential for delicate collectibles. The precision applicator made it easy to apply exactly where needed without mess. If you have small plastic repairs, especially on collectibles or detailed items, this product is a fantastic choice for a reliable and clean fix.

Bonded plastic brilliantly, and stayed bonded months after!
Perfect in every way. We had a broken/snapped car headlight bracket, mixed this stuff together, and the bracket has been solid ever since. The only issue is the drying process is very long. With heavier items like the light, we had to prop it up for an hour or so to make sure it was fully dry. But the product did its job.

Headlight fix
This is good stuff. Bought this to fix part of my cars headlight assembly that fixes it to the car as it snapped off. Mixed it well and applied then left for a few days before I tried it. Its dried solid so I can screw the broken bit down again. Would recommend.

Works very well
Good quality adhesive for plastics. Worked well where a number of others had failed. A great sting repair that cured in a few hours. Easy to use very versatile and good value. I would recommend.

Fantastic Plastic Bonder - Ideal For VW Internal Door Card / Trim Repairs
I used this to repair one area of an internal door trim card of a VW Golf, where the door mounting clips hold the trim card to the metal part of the door. I was unlucky in breaking one location on the trim card when pulling the it off the door to gain access inside. The round cheaper mounting clips will sometimes break and will need replacing, but to replace the entire door trim card is very very expensive! This plastic bonder glued the broken ABS plastic piece back to the trim card and cured rock solid and saved me a fortune. I gave it a few hours to cure to make sure it will be strong before re-assembling the door trim card. Mix it throughly and clean surfaces, apply liberally - high recommended.

This needs a usage manual
Used this to attempt a repair on a cracked car boot trim plastic panel - with mixed results. The product description doesn't say it is only marginally compatible with polypropylene. Also, the stated cure time is way too short - it takes 48h+ at 20C to fully harden. The trim panel had a crack at the corner of an access hole for the rear lamp cluster about 4" long. I applied JB Weld to the interior of the trim panel where it's not visible, to fix both halves of the crack in place. 1st attempt: mixed using the supplied wooden spatula and the packaging "mixing tray". No prep on the plastic panel except for degreasing and cleaning. Gooped up the interior of the panel and worked the compound into the crack. Left to set overnight in a warm garage at 20-25c. Next morning, after 16 hours, the remainder in the mixing tray and on the panel was a slightly pliable tacky mass, like sun-baked chewing gum. Also, the bead that I had laid on the trim panel had started to come away from the plastic at the edges. 2nd attempt: scraped the half-hardened epoxy off with a razor blade and sanded the area with 120 grit sandpaper and degreased (again). Mixed another batch with a proper spatula and bowl, and gooped the crack again. Left in the sun, with plastic temperature approx 50-55°C for about 4 hours. Noticeably harder after this than the first time. Adhesion appears to be much better, and the edges still adhere to the plastic. Time will tell whether it holds up.

Amazing stuff!!
It just works. Despite some reviews stating that it is "too wet" and wrongly criticising the incredibly simple cap, this stuff is easy to mix, easy to use (when applying a little common sense) and absolutely tough as old boots. Twist and pull off the cap to open the twin tube dispenser and give the tubes a few taps to make sure there's no air trapped in either, push the plunger to squeeze out the 2 components, ensuring that they come out in equal amounts, mix well and, unless you need a really liquid material, leave for around 5 minutes, possibly even a little longer if you're using it on a vertical surface, so that it thickens up a bit. Do make sure to replace the cap the right way round, though - quite easy to do, since the component liquids are black and white. Once applied, it sets in 20 to 30 minutes (rarely the 15 minutes stated on the packaging), so you will have time to shape and smooth it as it starts to cure and might need to hold, clamp or tape a joint in place for a while. Other than that, once it has fully cured (I ended up leaving it for 24 hours, just to make sure, as it was still soft enough to indent with a fingernail, even after a couple of hours) it is both sandable and any overspill can be cut off or shaped with a sharp blade. I can only guess that those who have said it "didn't set" hadn't taken care to make sure there were equal amounts of the two components before mixing, as it is much like any 2 pack type adhesive or filler - too little hardener/activator means the product won't cure and harden. Honestly, when mixed and applied correctly, this product is so good that I have absolutely no issues with it and have ordered more for various other plastic repairs I need to do! Given how good it is, I think it's pretty good value, too.

Bought it to repair the windshield pillar on my car. After mixing the product it takes around 20 to 30 minutes to start becoming harder. After an hour it hardens and it has a little rubbery texture. I sanded it and painted it afterwards, great result and easy to use.
