Is the remote unit weather proof?

I don’t know about fully weather proof but where mine is installed isn’t all covered. The microphone part is but the small speaker is outdoors slightly covered by an overhang and I have had no issues. I don’t think the microphone part would be weatherproof though because I could see moisture getting into the electrical part of the system.
