Awesome!
Bought for my son for Xmas. Great quality sensory toys. He can't leave them alone. Maybe leave the noisy xylophone out next time 😂

LOVE IT
My 10 month old loves this toy! He's had it for around 4 weeks now and still, his eyes light up when I get it out for play time. A reallt great alternative to loud plastic toys, so much so I have asked family to stick to wooden toys for Christmas this year. Cant wait to spoil my boy with the entire Hape range!

1 yr old loves it
Bought for 14 month boy, loved the box more than the toy to start with but gave us a chance to check it. Nice and smooth, no sharp or rough edges, lovely bright colours, balls too big to go in the mouth. May be a little young to use the hammer but was able to copy us pushing the balls through with his hand. It was the first thing he went to play with the following day. Only complaint is the cord connecting the stick to the xylophone is a bit short (probably for safety reason) so he just thinks it's something to pick it up and swing it about with. But he has worked out he can play it using the hammer! Great fun.

Love it!
My 18 month old loves this. He is profoundly deaf and is enjoying exploring the sounds since having his cochlear implants. Great quality, made really well. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful wooden toy
This is a really wonderful toy. Well made, wooden, multiple ways to play with it. Our 6m old is very intrigued by the xylophone sounds, but cant quite work it yet. We like that it’s not an annoying sound. He loves to pick up the wooden balls in his hands, and to put the hammer in his mouth. He is just learning how to push the balls through the holes so that they land on the xylophone below. It will keep him entertained for many more months I’m sure!

Great for varied play
My little boy loves this toy, and has used it quite a lot. It is a little overpriced though - it should probably be around £15 - £20 max. And despite the notes not being tuned to the diatonic scale, you can still play some cool songs with it. In fact, the first time I played "The wheels on the bus" on it, my little boy was in hysterics because he could hear that some of the notes were slightly out (a bit more minor than usual). I don't think this really effects the usefulness of the toy though. It still encourages my child to make sounds, and he often brings me the xlyphone and hammer and asks me to play various tunes. He also loves to bash the balls through the top, and uses the bench as a step, so it's very sturdy and can take a strong beating! Overall I am please with this purchase, though I did um and aah over the price.

Lovely toy. Makes a nice sound.
Our daughter loved playing with this toy at a friend's house so we decided to get her her own. I wish the angle of the xylophone was slightly steeper as the balls sometimes get stuck but otherwise it's a lovely toy and makes a nice sound. My OH put one of the balls in the dishwasher which took all the glossy paint off it, so don't do that! Should you loose or need to replace any of the balls, we found Grimms Giant Wooden Marbles work well (though they have a matt finish).
