SmartGames Cats & Boxes Logic Puzzle Game with 60 Challenges for Ages 7+

What a great game and value for the money! It’s a perfect size for a one player game, the difficulty level increases throughout the booklet as you follow the guide, and durability seems great so far of playing it many times over Christmas break. This was perfect for my 7-8 year old cat lovers to do completely on their own without much parental help. It’s a cute, fun and educational game all in one. I was happy to see that it was challenging enough to keep them engaged for quite some time!

This is more a mind bending incredible puzzler rather than a game. The size is perfect for playing and for taking on trips. All ages can play this. My adult daughter loved it and was great at solving the many many options, as was my 7 year old grandson! It stretches the mind and everyone really enjoyed it. There are so many options for playing, this item will never get old. I'm still trying to figure out how various minds react so differently to this very incredible item. It says a lot about the way different people solve situations. I have to admit I wasn't the top players which is a great curiosity to me that I've yet to figure out, lol. The 7 year old performed better than i did. This is a phenomenal activity that everyone should have and experience. The tactile aspects are great, fun to use and move the pieces about. A keeper that should be in every home. I am so curious about the mind of the person who created this!

Picked this up as a travel game to pass time on our road trips. I was originally looking for the exact game "Rush Hour" to replace an older version I have and ran across this instead, took a chance and love it! It's designed PERFECTLY for travel wether you want to use the box or not. It's fun and at least somewhat challenging for all ages, I'm not too far from 30 years old and it was a delightful experience! Kids would enjoy it even more and find more challenge to it but I absolutely love how fun it is and the construction & quality are superb, I doubt anyone could make this better. This is definitely made by a top-teir gaming outfit. You get 60 puzzles to solve in the book, all sorted by most easy to most difficult with solutions in the back few pages. You set up the board as the book's visual diagrams describe for the puzzle you're solving then you move each tile one at a time until you have a cat in every box (very cute!). Like I said they start easy enough that only 5 moves solves the puzzle but towards the end of the book you'll be working on puzzles difficult enough that you're BOTH boxing and unboxing cats in the same puzzle to complete them. This makes it versatile enough for all ages.

This is a fun, cute, and high quality logic puzzle. I was really surprised at how challenging it is, even the “easier” problems can be hard to solve. It’s designed for one player but I’ve also enjoyed playing it with a friend to join forces in solving the puzzles.

This game of Cats & Boxes is just too cool. I highly recommend. My husband and I played the first couple easiest challenges and though he is a school teacher and I am a lowly housewife, I beat the pants off of him, but he eventually got better at it. I think he wasn't really invested in the game the first couple of times because I got this game to do with our grandchildren who are 3, 6, 7, and 9. Perhaps I'll get back to this review if I have more to add after I've been able to introduce this game to them, but I have high hopes for the grandkids. They may not catch on to it as fast as my husband, now that we've played it and I watched how he struggled at first, but I do think we will have some fun with it and the kiddos might even enjoy watching their parents trying to figure it out. LOL There are plenty of levels in the book of 60 games, but as we only played the first four, we've still to find out how really hard the higher levels may get. I think perhaps this game would make a great gift for any age of individual who find tackling a little bit of challenge invigorating, or to improve anyone's deductive reasoning, spacial awareness and tenacity. A good purchase I would definitely buy again!

This is an addictive, clever toy and my 13 year old grandson can’t put it down. The puzzle gets increasingly challenging and is very well made. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my grandson. He likes puzzles and challenges, and cats! One thing I liked about this game is he can play it with others or by himself. I also liked that because this game has 60 challenges he is not going to tire of it or outgrow it any time soon. He loves it! He quickly learned how to play and was hooked. His mother said my grandson often plays it at night in bed before going to sleep because it helps him unwind. I like that the game is fun, but also teaches logic and problem solving. It's a win-win when a game is fun and also has educational value without a child even realizing they are learning.

Bought this game for a 9-year-old. Cute, fun, and gets the brain working. Perfect!

The game got delivered in time and came in good condition. I had ordered it as a gift. Just as I had thought, the game is packed with challenges for all ages. It starts simple but gets hard for adults too. It's easy to take on trips. My friends plan to play it with their kids, parents and themselves! I would recommend it to others too.
