Philips One Blade Face & Body 3 Face Combs

I tend not to post reviews. When I do, it tends to be about warning fellow Amazonians about problems with items. This one is different. This one marks the first time I am posting something because the item is stunningly brilliant. For most of my life, I have had a wet shave. About ten years ago, I moved to an electric razor. I was always pleased with the PhilliShave that I used on a daily basis. Sure, it missed bits. Sure you sometimes had to go over your skin a couple of times, and sure, I had a permanent rash on the side of my neck. It pinched a bit if the hair was a bit long. The fact remains that no other razor came close - until now. The Philips OneBlade is green, waterproof and uses a replaceable (and being honest, expensive) head. It comes with a number of combs that allow you to trim your beard or moustache to a universal length. It took a while to work out how to fit them on and being honest, it's possibly not as good as a regular beard trimmer for this activity. Some of the reviews said that it nipped. It doesn't nip me. I'd suggest that you don't need much pressure to get a good shave. And make sure that the head is fitted correctly. Some reviews said that it doesn't cut as short. That's potentially true. Maybe it doesn't, but if you're going out again in the evening, having another shave doesn't irritate the skin with the OneBlade. Even my razor rash has cleared up. Yes, the replacement blades are slightly expensive, but the amount of time the OneBlade saves me outweighs this. I'm still on the first blade. I have some spares on order. I don't know what it'll be like when the effectiveness starts to fade (will it start to nip?) but that's been six weeks of daily shaving - so I think I've had my money's worth. I have no idea how the Philips OneTouch works, I suspect that it's faerie dust, as this is the best razor I have ever used in almost forty years of daily shaving. I actually look forward to shaving because it just works - every time.

I work in a remote clinical setting and had a gentleman with a very hairy chest needing to complete heart monitoring as part of the assessment. We use basic razors and hard to use. Had to use this product in anger to shave the patients chest, which was the patients. Excellent to aid a prompt shave and assessment. Have now two of these one for home and also one in the sickbay. Personal shave and shaping is excellent. Spare head and covers with pack, Portable case, very easy to charge with cable. Great value for money.

These are great razors, they are easy to use and have a variety of attachments availble so great for trimming to any style. be a little carefule as some models haev differnt charging capacities. (usb or Plug) and these are not interchangeable. i own 2 one for traveling, and one for daily use.

I’ve tried many shavers but I always go back to the OneBlade. I like a close shave and this gives the closest trim to almost a clean shave, still leaves a very small amount of stubble. The blades last quite a long time before they need replacing, I get about 6 months out of ow blade (3 shaves a week) which isn’t bad going. They’re expensive blades for what they are and you can only use the Philips replacement blades at their prices, hence my 4* rating. The blades are double sided so it cuts along the top and the bottom sides at the same time, very precise trimming can be done with these heads too. Charging is quick, however there’s no charge indicator to show when it’s finished charging. I just leave it on charge for a few hours and that will last me about a month (3 shaves a week). I don’t use the attachments as I like very short stubble, so I can’t review how well the length attachments work. Overall I’m very happy with the trimmer, I had one about a year ago until it stopped working. I’ve tried other stubble trimmers and shavers but nothing beats the OneBlade. Suppose it’s personal preference.

It worked alot better than I thought it would and it’s a nice close shave and it’s easy to line your beard up with it. And the case is made really well.

I usually wet shave with a decent safety razor, not those disposable multi-blade nonsenses, when I want a close shave. However, I often just want to shave as quickly as possibly because I hate doing it and I'm lazy and I don't want razor bumps and a bleeding face. I have owned both a foil and rotary shaver in the past. Both would not give me a decent shave, especially under my chin where the hair seems to grow thickest and needing several passes always left me with sore and red skin. I recently thought I'd try a new electric shaver again and came across this Philips OneBlade. I have to say that I enjoy using it for a quick shave. It's not as close as my safety razor but it's good enough for every day use. It's not so good for edging though, but I already have a trimmer specifically for that purpose so it doesn't matter to me. Overall I'm pleased with it.

OMG I have to say this is the best, best razor I have ever bought, it's so easy to use and smooth on your face, no nicks, no cuts and best of all no redness (after a dry shave) on my face ad to me does give a good shave with easy and much quick than a wet shave with a normal razor, tried may razors on the market over many years and this one by far out does than all to me anyway. Therefore for and to others I would highly recommend this razor to any one, good to under arm hair remover and chest. Great product thanks.

Clearly the shaver arrived opened before with half attempted taped closed again. There was hair even on the shaver still so clearly used. This is disgusting.

Harika bir ürün. Basit bir şekilde her gün kullanabiliyorsun ve aynı sakal bıyık şeklini hep pratik olarak sağlayabiliyorsun. Biri jiletten iyisi yok yazmış, e makineyle ne işin var o zaman, blah blah yani... Sakalda her türlü detayı kolaylıkla veriyorsun ve ben 3 farklı tıraş makinası kullandım pahalı markaların, bu en pratik ve kısa zamanda iş çıkarmadan hemen bitiriyorsun işini. Tam genç işi.

Ho sempre amato avere un po’ di barba incolta sul viso, spesso ricorrevo alle cure del barbiere vicino casa. Di frequente mi succede che il viso si irriti e sono costretto a tagliare la barba. Ma ho apprezzato il consiglio di mia moglie che mi ha suggerito di comperare un rasoio elettrico , in modo da evitare il classico appuntamento settimanale con il barbiere. Così ho iniziato la ricerca qui su Amazon , tenendo conto delle caratteristiche che avevo in mente: 1) Un rasoio che potesse essere sia un regola-barba e, all’occorrenza, potesse avere la possibilità di tagliarla del tutto. 2) Un prezzo accessibile . 3) Un’ottima qualità del prodotto , cosi da garantirne anche una lunga durata. Alla fine della ricerca sono giunto alla scelta di questo prodotto che coniuga le caratteristiche privilegiate. La marca, infatti, è una garanzia d’affidabilità e sicurezza, sappiamo che i rasoi elettrici sono nati in Philips, mentre il prezzo è davvero competitivo anche verso i prodotti di qualità dubbia che sono quelli “made in Cina”. Ciò che mi ha colpito quando ho aperto l'imballaggio è l'estetica e dopo averlo preso in mano mi ha subito impressionato la leggerezza e la solidità del materiale. Il foglio illustrativo è estremamente esplicito, ma il prodotto è semplicissimo da utilizzare e non ho avuto bisogno di ricorrere alle istruzione d’uso. Il rasoio è dotato di una lama che è colorata alle estremità, molto semplice nell’uso e nell’aggancio, quando il colore della stessa sbiadisce è necessaria la sostituzione. È fornito anche di una lama più piccola di ricambio per le limature. Negli accessori ho trovato anche tre pettini con diversi spessori che si agganciano alla lama. C’è anche il carica batteria e ricordo che per ottenere una ricarica completa occorrono circa 8 ore . Ho iniziato la rasatura sotto la doccia , visto che tra le peculiarità di questo prodotto troviamo anche l’ impermeabilità’. Per far riposare il viso ho tagliato la barba, tra l’altro, avendo qualche piccolo foruncolo sotto il mento temevo potesse sanguinare al contatto, invece nulla, il rasoio è delicatamente passato oltre. Il risultato ottenuto è stato eccellente , il viso è pulito anche se al tatto un po’ di resistenza si sente ma è davvero un’inezia. Appena si saranno consumate le lame in dotazione ,mi sono premunito andando a verificare il prezzo di quelle di ricambio , che sono vendute in confezioni da 2 e il prezzo si aggira intorno ai 25 euro . E la Philips garantisce per un uso non intenso , una durata di 8 mesi a lama. Quindi traendo le somme , con questo rasoio si risparmiano cifre notevoli. Qualità e risparmio erano le caratteristiche che cercavo ed è ho trovato … CONSIGLIATISSIMO ….

Fantastic product, great battery life. Just need to replace the blades every so often.
