Break it for Xbox 360 HDMI
Like other adapters, this thing blocks HDMI output on an Xbox 360. Reddit suggested to remove the shell, which was easily done by holding it sideways and tapping a few times with a small hammer. I kept the top housing shroud, and filled the cavity with black hot glue to make it nearly bulletproof yet sleek enough to no longer block the HDMI port. Waiting on RCA extension cables to test, but hopefully this will help minimize lag for music games… Giving full stars as it appears to be the best solution to a particular issue, even if it takes 5min to rework for the 360. Pictures included.

I tried it, but there was no video output, when I tested it with OBS studio, there was only sound, I am not sure if it was the cord that doesn’t work, or the console video output

Works on my CRT tv, perfect!!!
If you have a CRT tv , the cables work just fine! Even if you lack STEREO on the TV, they WILL work! The cable quality is durable and connects on 360s with the AV port!

Worked well for me!
I read lots of other reviews, and the one about connector pins being pulled out whenever you disconnected the cable had me concerned, but I made a habit of being gentle connecting and disconnecting and all is well. Another review said the blocky connector prevents it from being inserted all the way, but this wasn't the case on my Xbox360. The cable thickness was very good and I was surprised at the length. Very conveniently long with no signal quality problems. Remember: This is for video + L + R audio type connections, NOT "composite."

The cable works great. The only problem is all the colours are inverted so it’s not really the best

If I had the option to give this zero stars, I would. I purchased this to go with my ancient Xbox 360 that doesn’t have an option for HDMI so I saw this and thought “why not?”. Upon using it on my Xbox the picture showed on my tv but the colours were distorted and wrong, blues where greens should be and greens were red should be, needless to say the picture was a mess and terrible quality but I tried giving the benefit of the doubt cause it is AV input not HDMI. Upong further use it fit really snug so I made sure it was in all the way. I decided to see if maybe the cable wasn’t in all the way so I took it out and plugged it in well I did this three times and the glue and housing of the cable completely fell apart, completely ripple the wires out of the port and the cable just fell to pieces. Now the housing of the port is stuck in my Xbox. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND BUY THIS IT IS GARBAGE AND THE QUALITY IS BEYOND POOR.

worked for my old TV to connect my xbox, but does not work for my newer samsung TV (purchased in 2022). Its starting to show its age
