Photography is my hobby, so for me, this kit is perfect for my Nikon D5500. For my recent trip, I mostly use the filters (didn't get a chance to use the ND filters). When you hold the filters in hand, you definitely feel the material being used is high quality. It made me feel like a premium product quality. I did try to use the macro filter but was not able to successfully capture a sharp photo. It is definitely not the product since I didn't really learn how to use it properly. However, for UV and CPL filters, it was easy to use and the pictures at the beginning speak for itself.The rubber lens hood is really nice but it tricky to place it in the middle option. I wasn't able to use the flower lens hood since it wouldn't screw on, so I contacted the customer service, they immediately send me the replacement of it which works perfectly. I haven't use the ND filters yet but it would be beneficial to the customer if they sell a different filter with UV and CPL instead of selling ND4 filter. That's because you also get an ND4 filter in the ND filter kit/set. On a side note, shout out to their customer service :)I use their 52-58mm step-up ring so I could use all of these accessories on 52mm lenses for my Nikon D5500.Definitely recommend it, especially for beginners.

I use a Canon EOS 100D Rebel SL1. Everything was in the package and all works great with my camera. It came in perfect condition and was packaged very well to protect the contents. I have tried the close up filters and they work fine and I like the pouches they come in to protect them. The Tulip and collapsible lens hoods fit fine. This kit has a lot of nice items in it. Only drawback is when using macro filters you must use manual setting on the camera and not the auto lens feature. I did not find this to be a problem for me at all. This has all your filters you will need for your canon kit lens which is likely 58mm thread size. The quality is... okay. Its not great if you are going to get serious you probably need to be getting a better UV filter than the one included here. Hoya or even Tiffen are good choices than can be inexpensive. When it comes to other filter sizes you can use these on other lens all you need is a step up ring set. If you are serious about photography and not just testing the waters to see what you like obviously go with a more expensive set.

This is a great filter set for the price. The filters are thin, so harder to handle, but I think they're acceptable. Be careful in handling multiple times to insure you don't have finger and thumb prints on the filters cases. The 10 filters come in 3 pouches, one labeled ''Vivitar series 1'', the other two ''Allura''. They are: 1- UV (Ultraviolet Filter) or Sky filter, 2- CPL (Circular Polarizing Filter), 3- FLD (Florescent Filter), 4x Macro lenses +1, +2, +4, +10 and are threaded on both sides to enable multiple filter addition. +1, and +4 filters will give you a +5 macro filter, etc. The other 3x are 8- ND2, 9- ND4, 10- ND8. All are labeled, mine are 58mm and fit the 55mm lenses I have. Note the NDs and FLD are dark, so you must add to aperture or time the lens is open. Great set. Good buy.

I am a novice photographer and this was a really great versatile set for the price. I haven't used the macro filters yet, but I have used the UV and ND filters and the lens hood. The filters did what they are supposed to do and came with nice padded pouches so they don't get scratched or broken. I leave the UV filter on all the time, to protect my lens. I am still trying to figure out when to use the lens hood and when to collapse it, since it shows up in the photos if you are zoomed out. A pro may want to spend more, but those higher priced filters can cost as much as this entire set!My only complaint was shipping time. Which was likely an Amazon issue, but it took them almost a week to process my order before shipping. I was not happy about that, but that isn't a reflection on the product.

In giving all stars across the board. For someone like me who is on a budget, affordable lens accessories is a must. They work just as well and I have no complaints! No scratches or dinks and everything is very sturdy (which i found surprising for the price) .The collapsible hood is a wonderful tool that i hope to utilize more. The uv,cpl, and fld are excellent and i KNOW for a fact that those are going to be used the most. Im excited to take this out and use it to the utmost extent! So bottom line. Affordable and wonderful. And the best part, excellent quality without burning a hole in your pocket!PS. If you have no camera knowledge, make sure you look up and do a little bit of research on what each item will do for you!

The Altura Photo 58MM Tulip Flower Lens Hood threads are made of soft plastic and for the life of me I have not been able to get this hood to fit on any of my 58MM lens or filters with out it sliding out and starting to cross thread, as of right now this is not usable at all for me. Everything else works and fits just fine as it should.
