Second edit: I contacted the company about the problem and they were going to immediately send me a new one and I was supposed to get it by a certain date. Days and it was never sent out. Then they were going to overnight it. I didn’t get it overnight. I got it, three days later than what they promised.. I installed the new one today. It worked on one TV with a picture, but I didn’t even bother with a second TV to see if I got a picture because the sound didn’t work, I called them again today.. The one that I received today wasn’t the same as the one that I was trying to replace it was from a sister company. They are going to try to replace it, but I’m not sure which one if I’m getting from Service or the sister company which had a plug that was too big for my power strip, and I really had to waste plug space because of it. They can’t overnight it The second replacement I’m not really very happy with his company. They’re going to send it by ground. Edit. I purchased this May 17, 2024 and today is August 4, 2024 and it died today. I’m very unhappy. I hope it has a warranty longer than 2 1/2 months, And I hope it can be replaced quickly. I purchased another highly rated unit. It didn’t work at all and their customer service was nonexistent. This unit worked perfectly. It was easy to set up. I have a TV and cable box in my living room, and my bedroom shares the same wall, it just seemed crazy to pay for another Cable box. I bought a long HDMI cable and put the splitter in.. I bought a splitter along time ago, that eventually died, so I could watch TV in my bedroom. I can change the channel with the remote app in my phone. If I want to watch TV in the bedroom while I’m working around the house as well as in the living room, I can do that. I also can watch TV in bed and have the TV in the living room turned off. It’s great and works perfectly!

I have tried a few HDMI splitters and switches and none of them worked 100%. On most of them (even ones that claimed to be HDMI 2.0) I could only get a 1080P output and sound did not come through the tv. What I wanted to do was have it to where my desktop pc could be hooked to a monitor and a tv at the same time so I could play games with a keyboard and mouse or a controller depending on my mood and what game I am playing. I really did not care for them to work at the same time but I could not find an HDMI switch that would work correctly. Anyway I have a 1080P monitor and a 4K tv it downscales the 4K image from the tv to my 1080P monitor just fine with no lag the only caveat to this is when you have HDR turned on it makes the colors on the monitor weird they seem faded out (the monitor does not support HDR) so I have to turn HDR on and off in the Windows settings which I am personally fine with. 4K 60 FPS works, HDR works and everything worked 100% out of the box with no issues (other than the HDR setting I mentioned before. It does not appear it can take an HDR image and downscale it to an non-HDR device and it look correct but I really think this is a big nitpick. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I bought this to bypass an HDCP issue to record my screen, and it connects but flickers the image on and off and am not able to get a consistent signal. Works fine as an HDMI splitter for monitors, but not for my use.

Got this HDMI splitter to replace another brand I previously purchased and they worked flawlessly. The installation, instructions and programming lived up to the promised literature. Picture quality is identical as the input, no audio quality was lost and pricing was reasonable.

Connected the splitter. It worked instant, is not getting hot (yet). Provides a good quality video/audio signal. If the device will work as it works for the moment and it last one year, I’ll consider it a good buy
