Then and Now Bible Maps Insert Paperback – November 1, 2008

This was a very helpful tool for a visual learner as we study the Bible. It puts things into perspective and was a great resource and tool for extra clarity. My only issue was it arrived with a bent cover from shipping and it hasn't laid flat since. The colors and print inside are also easy to read.

This is super awesome. It's a small book about half the size of your bible. I misunderstood.I thought these plastic things went over the maps In your bible. . But actually they have the exact same maps.And then they have the plastic part that goes over the cities today. Exact same maps in your bible. Definitely a good investment.

The Then and Now Bible Maps Insert is must-have for Bible study. Get it and you will know where biblical events took place, and where those places are today. Will enhance your study of God’s word.

I’m so glad I bought this little thing. It is smaller than I hoped, but is absolutely what I needed for teaching an older adult Sunday School class. Easy to read, and sharp contrast between countries makes for easy identification. Oh, how I wish it were larger!

Never knew I liked maps until I started studying the Bible. This map is special, because you see what the location was called in the Old Testament, & then flip over the 'now' clear part, & you'll know what the place is called in the New Testament.

This little book is exactly what I was looking for. It is maps with overlays of biblical and current cities and countries. It has a few missing, I am not sure why, but it is still the best I have found. I would have liked to be able to write in what is missing, but it is difficult to write on the map itself, because of the materiel that was used. A lot of people want Bible stories with the map, but I was not looking for stories explaining anything as I use it with my Bible. I wanted the maps and overlays to be the main focus, and they are. Although there are plenty of overlay’s, I wish there were more. I also wish they had 1 map, with an overlay, of all areas. They divided them, probably because of the size of the book. I don’t have any issues with the staples or reading the names of places. I do wish it was bigger, as I don’t put it in my Bible, like others do. Overall, I really like.

I have long wanted a map like this so I could know what the ancient countries and cities are called today. This is a helpful study tool.
