Nikwax Tech Wash / TX.Direct Wash In Twin Pack

This is fabulous. I have been using it on my winter coats which were no longer fully Showerproof. These products have made my coats look like new and perform like new. There is no odour with either product and only a 30° wash is needed. Saves a fortune in cleaning bills - or new coats Highly recommended

Does exactly what it says on the tin - washes in and waterproofs. Needs doing twice a year for myself, riding in all weathers and most days, maybe 11-12k miles a year. Never used anything significantly better at the price either!

I have a jacket which was originally waterproof but it had been washed a few times in ordinary detergent and had lost its waterproofing. When I recently wore it during a downpour, I was literally soaked to the skin. The jacket offered no protection whatsoever. I bought this product which consists of two items - 1) a detergent especially for waterproof garments which does not remove waterproofing and 2) a bottle of waterproofing liquid. I have used both products on 2 jackets. I did this in my washing machine so they were very easy to use. They appear to have worked well although I have not worn them in a downpour as yet.

Very pleased with the pre-wash which thoroughly cleaned my old Timberberland soft-shell jacket in the washing machine. Then ran the synthetic 30 degree machine program adding the waterproofing agent. Let the jacket dry overnight and was amazed by the complete water repellency when I ran part of the jacket under a tap. I then cycled to work in a light drizzle of rain and, after ten minutes, the jacket was soaked and wet to the touch. I don't know how it's possible?! In summary, it's fine if someone chucks a bucket of water at you, but a mild drizzle will penetrate. At least I'm 50% better offer than when the jacket was completely non-waterproof.

Have been using Nikwax for about 20 years and it is brilliant. First got it for Goretex jacket (recommended by Goretex at the time) and since on other wet weather gear. Haven’t found anything better yet.

Cleaned my rainjacket which was wetting out, now beads water well and better than when it was first purchased. Very happy with this product.

Jacket looks somewhat cleaner. But didnt notice the 2 spots I missed on each sleeve till I was doing the 2nd stage.

Used to clean and waterproof winter textile motorbike jacket and pants. Just add a couple caps of each solution to clean and then separately waterproof. Seems to work ok, need it to rain to confirm how waterproof it is. There is still enough in the cans to do another treatment if I need it or if it needs to be done in a couple years.

These worked great on my outdoor jacket. Cleaning and refreshing its water repelling properties.
