Veise G2 Gateway, Smart Deadbolt WiFi Gateway, Remote Control, Compatible with DD Lock APP and TT Lock APP Remote Control

The VEISE G2 Gateway has been a fantastic upgrade to my smart home. Setup took just a few minutes, the app paired instantly, and I was able to bring my VEISE lock online without any hassle. Remote lock/unlock works smoothly, notifications arrive right away, and the connection has been rock-solid with no drops or delays. I also love the compact design and smart integrations—it works great with voice assistants and makes sharing temporary access codes simple for guests or deliveries. For the price, the performance and peace of mind are outstanding. If you want reliable remote control and easy monitoring of your door, this gateway delivers.

The setup is pretty straightforward. As with most electronics, it has lights that will tell you the status of the equipment. The literature with it explained what it meant to have a solid blue light, an alternating red/blue flash, and red light which like most means it’s angry. What it did not say was what a flashing blue light meant. I was setting up the gateway first and then moving it before I installed my new locks. So on all the paperwork they have the number for tech support and that they wanted a call if you had an issue. Great folks. A flashing blue light means the gateway is setup and waiting to be paired. Make sure to scan the QR code to get the DD Lock app. As I started I went in the App Store and found a DD Lock app, but it didn’t look like the one in the literature. I deleted that one and scanned the QR code. The second TRT was correct. That may seem kind of a boneheaded issue, but they put an installation manual, a user’s manual, and several smaller notes in each box. I had a gateway and multiple locks and QR codes to take me to videos on installation and usage. For what these costs compared to other brands I researched I’m pleased with the value, functionality, and the multiple options available for locking and unlocking.

I recently added the Veise G2 Gateway to my smart home setup, and it’s been a remarkable upgrade. Not only does it pair seamlessly with my smart door lock, but I’ve also successfully linked it with Alexa. This integration has taken my home security to a whole new level, allowing me to control my door lock using just my voice. Setting up the gateway was a breeze. It’s compatible with both the DD Lock and TT Lock apps, which I found to be very user-friendly. The true convenience, however, unfolded when I linked it with Alexa. Now, locking and unlocking my door is as simple as giving a voice command, which is incredibly handy when I’m busy with tasks or if I’ve already snuggled into bed. The gateway itself is discreet and blends well with my home decor. Despite its small size, it’s been consistently reliable in maintaining a stable connection, ensuring I can access my lock anytime, anywhere. This added layer of functionality has not just improved convenience but also enhanced the safety of my home. Being able to remotely control and monitor my door lock, whether I’m in a different room or away from home, provides great peace of mind. In summary, the Veise G2 Gateway earns a well-deserved five stars from me. For anyone looking to elevate their smart home experience with enhanced security and the magic of voice control, this gadget is a must-have.

So far so good. Waiting to see if it lasts long. I've connected to my smart door lock. I'm able to now see the live status of the door as well as lock/unlock remotely even when I'm not home. Wifi also says is medium or low strength despite being close to the router. That worries me. Otherwise it's good. I'll update here if it doesn't stay the same I'm a few weeks/months.

I really, really love the Veise Gateway. It's very small and easy to hide anywhere in your house. The build is clean and simple and all you need is an outlet to plug it in. I also bought the smart lock keyless entry with a deadbolt and I installed it on my back door and I bought the Veise smart lock for front doors with fingerprint keyless entry. I keep the gateway in the middle of my house and it is easily powerful enough to reach the doors. With the gateway I was able to add my locks to my google home app and the locks are a wonderful addition to my growing google home system. So in addition to all the amazing functions the locks came with I can open and close them remotely. My only complaint is that you are instructed to install the DDlock app which does not show up in the list of google compatible items. I had to install another app that is the same as DDlock and it took me a while to figure that out. Besides the minor app issue, I can say without reservation that this is the lock to keep your home safe and to do so easily.
