Cheap and effective I used these for my Geo tracker whose door stop broke

Keep door straps. Quality.

The straps are easily adjustable. I first used the second-in loop, but it was a little too loose; the door would open past 90 degrees. I shortened it to the third-in loop, and it worked perfectly. The excess fits nicely under the door trim. UPDATE: After a month or two of use, the strap seem ripped. Fortunately, I was able to reattach the strap in a suitable position by using another loop.

These straps are thin and very flimsy. The first set broke within a week. I contacted the seller and they quickly sent a new set...great customer service. The next set lasted a couple days. One stiff breeze or hill and these things snap like a twig. My Jeep has manual windows and locks, so it's not very heavy. I'm trying the woven Paracord type now....

I use the door straps on my Jeep. They were easy to install, but the adjustability is done with stitching. The 3rd or 4th time the door was opened fully, on a slight downhill grade, the stitching ripped. The door opened to far and the mirror was pushed out of adjustment.
