Royal selection starts
This is a key book in the series, with important character introductions and the royal selection starting. As it's important it doesn't have the same fun or action as the previous books, and a darker tone starts to set in. But pay attention to the characters and what they say as it really helps set up the next few books.

I really can't understand all the excitement around the re-zero series.....I read the first one and I thought it was pretty good , the second and the third I sort of like it , but I found the fourth a bit average. At the start I couldn't really understand why I wasn't enjoying these novels as much as the 99% of the others readers, but I have now realized that my problem is with Subaru the main character, I do find him extremely annoying and in particular in this book , I understand that this volume is mostly meant to put the bases for the new story arch and therefore a bit slower than the ones to follow , but right now, if I feel like to read another Isakai ( I am more of a slice of life light novel reader), I will probably go for Arifureta or Konosuba and let some time go before I continue this series. So I wanted to give it two stars but that would have been to mean as it might be just me and my dislike for the main character, so three stars it is...

Honestly, I've already read this Volume a while ago, I just wanted the physical product. Good Volume, loved the start to this arc and Priscilla I need you. Quality of product is great. If you really liked Re:Zero you should give the Novels a try, there's a lot more content in them.

Lots of new characters in this volume! Definitely leaves you wanting to read more. The story is great as always. I will be reading the next one. Would recommend to fans of the series, book came in perfect condition 👍
