Great product for the money works smooth

I've been using them with my harbor freight mini lathe and they have done well, several times in the project I'm currently working on. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.Before this, I had bought a smaller Irwin set at Ace hardware for about $40 and one of the taps in that set stripped on the very first use. I've had no problems with this set at all.

This is a nice set, but ensure that the set has all the sizes and pitches you want or need. I had asked Rufus to confirm a 12 1.25 die and tap in the set. Rufus indicated it did. Unfortunately, the set does not include 12 1.25 die or tap which I absolutely needed tor repair a Prius brake caliper. I ended up having to find what I needed from a local Ace Hardware store.

I bought this to put some metric threads on a tool. It has a nice selection of male and female taps and dies, and matched the threads I needed. adequate quality for the price, but I am no expert in taps and dies.

The tools were good quality and I’d say it’s a good value for the money the issue was with the storage box - I received the product and opened it and all the tools were thrown all over nothing stays in its spot at all and it’s super messy and I like organized storage boxes.
