Sawada Coffee Style (TRANSWORLD JAPA)

This book is great! Gives some more background on Sawada's approach to branding and customer service, as well as lots of shots of the unique Sawada/Green-Street-Meats space. Definitely a cool pickup if you've spent any time in the coffee shop.

Kind of bougie, but hey, he won the big coffee fest championship when it was a real big thing. As a coffee shop owner in Colorado, I can't relate to a Chicago city hipster scene, but I was inspired by the Japanese business approach to details and commitment.
