Neat little vacuum - child afraid of spiders, but this lets them get rid of themselves from a safe distance. Powerful suction with new battery - not sure how long each battery lasts yet.

JUNK! This vacuum is not strong enough to pull bugs off garden plants. Leaf footed and stink bugs easily ran away. I installed a new Duracell battery, not a cheapy, and it barely has suction. Total waste of money and it takes a 9 volt battery which is very inconvenient for most people.

I live in an area with bugs. Discovered this several years ago when we had stinkbugs in the house. Don't know how they got in, we have a clean house, but started finding 2-3 a day, and one day was up to around 20. Saw this and thought why not. Flying bugs, from what I understand can not feel a vacuum. They see this approaching, try to fly away and get sucked into the tube. This year it has been ladybugs, flys and wasps (or hornets, I don't know, stingy things) at my work. Most of my office days, I just spend a few minutes capturing bugs. Started with 30-40 a day, today I didn't see any! Once caught, I bring them outside, take off the plastic tube and let them fly free. This is a lot better than spraying poisons, quick, easy, non-toxic. Battery lasts for years. This product is so good, I now have one at home, one at my office and a spare in case one stops working.

Powerful and quality. Very durable. My only wish is that I did not have to turn it off to get the bug out. I’m always afraid it’s going to crawl back onto me😂. But the capability is without question. It functions exactly how it says.

Works fine for slow moving beetles and crawling insects, not so good for flying insects.... aggravated a wasp and until I achieved the right angle, the suction wasn't sufficient and the noise (& possibly vibration?) of the wand riled the critter. Some insects escaped unless I ran the vac until I could release them outside. Works best on stinkbugs and some spiders (doesn't seem to injure their legs) and it is fun for kids to use.

This device is TERRIBLE! IT DOES NOT FUNCTION WELL AT ALL. It makes a loud noise which scared all the fruit flies away. They did not suck into the barrel at all, the opening at the end of the tube is so large, that all bugs would escape. I would like my money back--I feel cheated. I used to own one which worked great, but it got too old and stopped working-------------this one will never work. I have never had a problem with Amazon--but they did not test this device before selling it.

It works but not enough suction power

So, I HATE bugs. It doesn't matter what size or species it is. I HATE bugs. I saw this online and decided to buy it. I thought will it work. And yes, it does!!! I love that it's got a light that stays on. The suction is great. I just wish it came with a cap for the end so once you catch the insect, you could let it outside. I just flush it down the toilet & flush 2x. I am very pleased with my purchase and every single woman who doesn't like bugs should have one.
