What's the active ingredient in this product?

The description on Amazon INCORRECTLY refers to both 'Bromadiolone' and 'Diphacinone'. (These are 2 different compounds.) The actual product contains ONLY 'Diphacinone'. I cannot comment on whether that matters (just received the product yesterday), just added this answer for clarity/accuracy.

How many pieces in 4 lbs? What do you recommend as bait station?

I can't answer for this package, but in the store, a one pound bag contains 16 blocks. Assuming all of these green bait blocks are the same size, they should weigh 1 ounce each -- giving you 64 blocks in a four-pound container. (For comparison, 16 blocks in the store was almost $10, so this sounds like a good deal!) I hope this helps!

Will ground squirrels eat this too?

Yes it will kill ground squirrels, Chipmunks, regular squirrels, cats, dogs, human toddlers. If you don’t use a baitbox it can kill a lot of things.

Will these also kill squirrels that get in the attic? ?

Yes, just throw a handful in you attic where you hear them. Got rid of them in two of our buildings.
