Best HR chest strap in the market right now.
This is second Polar H10 chest strap, the first one is still working after 6 years but the strap gave up so I decided the buy the full set again. What can I say about it that other reviews haven't yet, not much really. In simple words, the sensor in itself is very reliable and accurate and the strap is quite comfortable to wear, stays on your chest whether you are running, or swimming or performing any other physical activity. Back to the sensor, I use it primarily for when I run and do weight lifting and calisthenics whether I record the session with my Polar Vantage M3 or through the Polar Beat app and also for HRV measurement with two third party apps. Great product, do not hesitate to buy it.

Works great with Apple Ultra 1
Update: I have one caveat, which knocks it down from five to four stars. Sometimes, the sensor that previously paired fine with my Apple Watch Ultra 1 simply won't. If I forget the device and then reconnect it, it works perfectly every time.Bottom line: if you connect your watch via Bluetooth to the Polar H10, the heart rate data shown on the Fitness app is entirely from the H10 -- in other words it overrides the watch's native optical sensor. Since the optical data is occasionally highly inaccurate, you will very much benefit from buying this Polar sensor if recording accurate heart rate during workouts is important to you.Regarding the Polar Beat app. Download it to your iPhone (mine is 15 Pro running iOS 18.1.1) and then download the user manual from the Polar website before you try using the app. You must have the strap on and sensor active (see manual, smear a little saliva on strap sensors) in order to set up the device. Set up the H10 and turn off ANT+ to save battery power. Check that your heart rate shows up on the Polar app. Now, go to Settings on your watch, select Bluetooth, and scroll down to Health Devices to connect to the Polar H10. When you do this, the heart rate on the Polar app will immediately drop off. As best I can tell, nowhere does it tell you that the H10 and Polar app talk via a discrete and invisible channel, which drops off as soon as a device is connected to the H10 via Bluetooth. Anyway, once you've connected to the watch the Polar Beat app becomes completely superfluous because the Fitness app collects all the H10's data, and more.Further down this rabbit hole...if you disconnect the watch from the H10 (forget the Bluetooth connection) and run without carrying your phone, the Fitness app will display optical heart rate and the watch's Polar Beat app will not record heart rate data, so at the end of your run you'll have no record from the H10. If you want a record, you need to run with your phone, ensuring that neither the watch nor the phone are connected to the H10 via Bluetooth (the phone will prompt you to do so, so decline that invitation). You'll then have H10 data on the Polar Beat app, and optical data from the watch (during your run what you see is optical data). So, back to the bottom line. The H10 is a great addition to biometric data collection for Apple Ultra 1 and iPhone 15 Pro users.

I wouldn’t purchase
Here’s the reality, I’ve gone through two. Work great for a month, then connection problems and can’t be detected by your device.Cons:Does not last long before disconnecting. If it doesn’t work, the other aspects really don’t matter.Pros:Great appSeems responsive and accurateAs comfortable as I could expectI did all the fixes suggested, both times. Changing batteries, “resetting”, etc. it just stops connecting one day. And the worst part is, I really liked it’s functionality until it stopped working.

Awesome monitor
This monitor connects automatically to my treadmill. I was hesitant at first to use it, but it is very comfortable. It helps me with the treadmill weight loss functionality by automatically adjusting the inclination based on the continuous heart rate from the monitor.

It's not terrible but read my comments
I am on the borderline on this purchase. It has a few flaws.First I am overweight and I needed to improvise an extender for this. My chest is probably about 55 in, I'm kind of a big guy even when I'm not overweight.Second and this is what I was most disappointed about, the interface software is just not very good. They can improve this a lot that way. There's no audio feedback on your heart rate which is the thing that I'm most wanted. It would be really nice to continuously hear what your heart is doing rather than to have to hold up your phone. The synchronization between phone and device is tricky, and you get the software update it failed on my old Android phone. I've got a new phone now and I will try it and maybe it'll work better.

Works with the app
It works with the app and I have to wash the strap after every run
