Had an issue with this, got in touch with the company, they responded quickly. It wasn't the canner per se, I'm just a ditzy bish. I now rely on this for fun EVERYTHING ngl

Like many folk, I was a bit nervous about using one of these beasts but watched a couple of how to videos first. Since getting it I have canned lots of soup using my garden produce. Reason for getting it was not having to be totally reliant on the freezer and to increase food storage capacity. I also buy chicken bits in bulk to can as pet food. It is a great lump of a pot ,taking up a lot of room but it is handy just to be able to take a jar of homemade soup off the shelf to eat at once. It is also a nice deep pot to use for water bathing canned fruit.

The box says it’s a pressure canner, the manual says it’s a pressure cooker. Two very different beasts. On the plus side ,hence the one star ( which I will review if the seller answers my email and Amazon messages) ,it’s a seriously nice looking piece of kit and robust enough, however the lack of pressure canning info or operating instructions is frustrating. I defrosted six pounds of chicken to can today, which will be completely wasted if I don’t can this safely and correctly. I’m at sea level so ten pounds of pressure is what I need but having no luck finding a conversion table for UK. I’m afraid if the seller doesn’t advise me in a timely fashion it’s going straight back in the box unused. Edit. Seller agreed to let me return this item so extra points for that. It’s disappointing but I’ve seen enough American pressure canners to be suspicious of this one. I’ve no doubt it’s an excellent pressure cooker and will “give a seal”, (even water baths do that )but the lack of info in the instruction manual was a red flag.

As a gourmet mushroom grower at home this large capacity pressure cooker is a must for me. It fits a lots of jars or substrate bags in it for sterilisation purpose. The pressure build in it it's good and has the meter next to the safety valve to give you a peace of mind for the safe side. Make sure you fit the lid properly and lock and have plenty of water in it for the process you need. I love this pressure cooker and I would recommend it

This is a good size for canning taking eight to nine reasonable sized jars. All safety valves operate as expected but my only issue is that the pressure gauge on my unit does not work.

Para el precio que tiene es una olla que está muy bien. El interior es de aluminio, con lo cual no la recomiendo para cocinar. El exterior de areto inoxidable. Yo la he comprado para conservas y he de decir que ya la he usado con un resultado excelente. Estoy muy contenta. Por cierto, tengo la de 25 litros y caben dos pisos de conservas. Viene con una caja con utensilios para conservas.
