Great setup, comes with all you need. The pads are durable, though they might be crushed slightly from the packing and shipping process. I simply laid them out overnight to reshape. Easy to use, multiple handle attachments and configurations allow for great control. Large trigger is easy to squeeze and a locking button helps alleviate stress on your hands. Power/Speed control is easy to adjust, simple scrolling switch. Used the fine pad to polish and it worked flawlessly. Easy to swap out pads, and with an included 6" and 7" pad holder you can swap between polish and buffing quickly. The tool itself seems to be quality, strong motor that handles well under load. It can be a bit whiny-loud at times, with most of the noise coming from the pad spinning.

After reading all the reviews and being skeptical the price point and fast delivery had me sold. Before I used any of the attachments I made sure the unit operated as it should. Found it to operate flawless with no noise or burning smell at all. Used it on all 7 speeds to make sure it was good before returning. Then I put it to the test. Sanding and polishing a windshield. Spent 5 hours straight sanding, and polishing the entire windshield with no issues. I have been using tools for many many years as a mechanic and sometimes it's failure on the user end. I can better all of the 1 star review were from people that didn't know what they were doing when tightening down the quick attachment to the buffer. I am willing to bet they forgot about the lock for the buffer shaft spun the quick attachments on then didn't verify the lock was fully released buy rotating the tool backwards to get it to unlock. Then verify it spun free by hand before plugging it in and turning it on. In short if you don't have common sense or familiar with tools watch YouTube or ask questions or don't purchase items that you seen on YouTube that look easy enough but then you break the tool and give it a 1 star. This thing works really well if you use it correctly.

Got this to buff out my 21ft, 23ft, boats, a suburban, a celica, a couple of wave runners. The 21ft boat is only 3 years old and was showing oxidation on stern and ports sides. This machine was put through its paces for several days straight. I was out there at it a solid 6 to 8 hours a day since I had a bit of free time on my hands. I blame the Oxidation remover, polish, and wax kit I got for not giving me the results expected. At 1st I thought I am just not doing this right. I worked an area with the Orange pad and the oxidation compound and within hours its came back. Port side exposed to sun more than starboard with how it sits in the lift. So, I doubled down on the remover, bought some wool pads as the foam pad was already disintegrating. By the 4th day, my arms and shoulders were on fire and I had gone through the 3 step compounds numerous times. So, I grabbed my bottle of Mothers cleaner and Brazilian Carnuba Wax and made one last pass on the stern and port side. Well, sadly, the buffer was smelling like something burning, so I took the air hose and blew out the vents. Then while holding it vertical it starts cutting out on me. So, I open the side access ports and think the brushes are worn out. Nope, they look good. Back at it for a few minutes and its going good, then the burnt smell again and now the bearings in it are making a not so good sound like they ran out of grease. So, I returned it no problem. It from china, you get a good one or you don't. I may just be too hard on my stuff. But when polishing and buffing out a car or boat, size and strength does not matter because you actually have to control the machine so you don't push too hard all day and possibly burn through. Slow steady movement and change directions constantly and keep moving. So, I am 6 ft and 200lbs which means nothing when buffing. I am actually not even letting the weight of the machine against the surface at times. I think it is a good machine and comes with a good selection of foam pads from course to fine, a 6 and a 7 inch buffer holder, as well as a spare set of brushes which are just clipped in once the access hatch is removed with 1 screw. I just got a bad one or I should have let it cool off more often. Since I hold it at the head most of the time, I can feel it getting hot. Maybe I should have opened it up and made sure there is sufficient grease in the gear there where it is doing a 90 degree change in direction. I still have a HF tool from 25 years ago that works fine. I bought one for my brother that didn't last 5 minutes. It is what it is when buying these tools these days. Cheers!
