Not very good
It just doesn’t work well. Take the money and buy a cheap tap and die set.

It looks like it would work. I tried it on a bolt and seems like it would work. I just didn’t have a bolt that needed fixing.

on the go repair
This is a handy little tool, that will get you out of trouble. the last one I had lasted 22 years, before it finally gave up, my fault tried using it on 19mm Stainless, push a bit to much. if I get 20+ years from this one I'll be happy.

Yery poor quality tool
I have a similar thread repair tool for bolts up to 1/2 inch so I thought this would do the trick on 5/8 x 11 on a shaft for pickleforks. I ran it over the third threads about three times and the blades really didn't get tight enough to actually unbooger the mushroomed first two threads. After I found out the tool really didn't work all that well, then I noticed the damage after only using this to one time. Definitely would not purchase again
