These are REALLY heavy duty safety pins. I was looking for heavy duty pins to pin my socks together for laundry because typical safety pins these days are so cheap and flimsy they fall off in the washing machine. These are really too large for this application, the wire gauge is quite large and a bit difficult to get through typical sock material.But for purposes requiring a very stiff heavy duty pin these would be great. I'm keeping them around for other as-yet undiscovered purposes. I did find some other heavy duty conventional style safety pins ref. my other reviews.

Just ok. But very strong and doesn't bend out of shape. Neither does it rust. So 3 &1/2 Stars
Work well but not that sharp. Hard to pin into BVDs, Undershirts, Diapers, etc. But Excellent spring steel. Doesn.t bend out of shape or such.l

Big and thick
These safety pins are big and sturdy but the metal is really thick and will put a hole in your fine fabric.
