Great product
If you have a non iPod compatible car stereo and want to listen to your iPod or iPhone this is hard to beat. The bluetooth phone integration works great and of course you can charge your iPod while listening or bluetooth your music. The Parrot also supports other devices if, for some strange reason, you don't have an iPod or iPhone. It is easy to fit if you are reasonably handy or any garage or auto electrician will be able to install it very quickly.

You need this
Arrived within 3 days of ordering so well done Amazon.A bit daunting when I first opened the box, lot's of wiring but when I got into it it was all very straight forward to fit, the hardest and longest part was deciding where to run the wiring for the screen and microphone to keep them concealed, wiring up to my existing radio/cd player was simply a matter of plugging it all in.Paired to the remote control and my phone (samsung galaxy note) very quickly and with no problems. Sound quality is excellent when using the phone for calls or for streaming music, others who have complained about the sound quality should have a play with some of the options. It took me about 2 hours to fit and most of that was thinking time. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good hands free system.

Terrible - DO NOT BUY!! PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW.
PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING AND ALSO SEARCH THE WEB FOR ISSUES TO DO WITH THIS PRODUCT!The parrot mk9200 is is probably the worst purchase I have ever made.It simply does not work as its suppose to. When using the remote the parrot system does exactly what it wants, not what i choose. I press to do something and it does something completely different. E.G. press the main button to fetch up the menu (i.e. phonebook etc) and it will change the brightness of the screen. Or it wont do anything at all E.G. cannot change the volume while on a call. It is very rare that i can actually get the parrot system to do anything, it acts as though the remote isn't even connected yet randomly it will do something random. I have changed the battery several times and updated the software and yet it still does the same thing. The remote is on the dash with the parrot box behind it so it is not as though it is an issue with the distance away from the box. Yet i have tried moving the remote slightly further away and in different positions anyway, as suspected this makes no difference. I know it's not an issue with the install as to begin with it did work ok, for about a month with only odd issues, and I got source sounds to do the install which are probably the most reliable company that you can get in the UK to do installs for these and car audio (they have won numerous awards and are a premium quality company). The phone bluetooth connection does work ok (although sometimes the connection drops when on calls when the phone signal strength is full and i've used multiple phones on different networks) but i have to use the controls on the phone to make and answer calls and ensure that the call is output on the parrot system (using the phone). However obviously this defeats the object of the handsfree kit as i need to stop driving to make and accept calls on my phone. Another issue with the parrot system is the voice recognition, it rarely phones the person i actually say (or anyone else says as ive got a number of other people to try it who have different or no accents) and thats if i can actually use the remote to activate the voice recognition (again the mic is in a good place and i'm quite clear to others when i'm using it. I have also tried the voice recognition at night when there is no outside/background noise). I have tried to cope with using the system as it is but i simply am not getting any satisfaction from using it and i miss many calls and cant make most of the calls i need to when driving, which is embarrassing when I have chosen a blutooth system which is suppose to be of good quality. I have friends who have cheap £50 headunits with handfree bluetooth built in that work so much better than the parrot mk9200.

Mercedes Nightmare... Only front speakers
The Parrot is a brilliant piece of kit - easy to control and quick to connect. The hands-free is clear and easy to use. The display is excellent.BUT...Installing this kit in my merc E class was a nightmare. The power and earth loads were swapped over and the adapter lead needed to be heavily modified. Many brains spent much time trying to get this working. The line in, ipod and USB replay only seems to work through the front speakers and does not work through the car amplifier. The signal comes from the Parrot system (small and low power) and this drives the car speakers. The playback quality is poor and not really satisfying for music, but fine for telephone or listening to audiobooks. On balance, good kit that trys to do do too much, and watch out for installation nighmares!

Just Works
Great Product. Two niggles. While the music quality and is excellent and perfectly good for normal music when you want to "rock out" a little and have it far too high it is not as loud as the factory BMW stereo. The screen can be too bright for night driving. When it is turned right down on brightness is is about the same brightness as the dials on my Z4. I would like the option to dim it further. As you can tell from the niggles these are minor points. Thoroughly Recommended.
