its childrens place, how can you go wrong?? they have the quality and it is often true to size. the fabric is smooth cotton, not terry. i love the silver because it blends nicely with my 11yr old son's tshirt collection and nice when we go to dinner. it falls right above his knees, my son is a few inches taller than the average, therefore the size 16. he will be able to wear it again next summer. he is tall and thin, so we get the length and the shorts have working drawstrings that are wide and structured enough that the strings dont crunch in their waistband. i rushed w as many pairs when childrens place go on sale like this. thank you. i love the deep but flat pockets and the side slit is nice and indiscreet. the seams are will reinforced for the HSP [Highly Sensitive Person]

Got these for my grandson he’s 4, true to size. They look real good on him, what I love the most, he can go to restroom on his own getting the pants up n down without my assistance. Great quality, no shrinkage after wash .

These are cute shorts, however there isn’t a way to tye the strings or pull like a built in belt. I had to roll them to stay on. I think they are a little bigger than size. These are his favorite pair

Ok love them, unfortunately they were a little snug & have to return them. Which they had 10 husky. Also can't get next size cuz they're out of the 3 color pack. So 1 less star since they dont have husky sizes. It's hard to find good quality shorts for a great price like this was.

My son is tall, with long legs and has trouble finding shorts that aren’t too short for him. These are fantastic because they fit him just right. He has these in multiple colors, and we’ve washed them over and over for school. The quality holds up and they’re soft and comfortable to wear. These shorts are true to size but the elastic drawstring is helpful even if between sizes. Will continue to purchase for years to come.
