Works like it should
Used one for the first time the other day. Did what is supposed to do. Not a big or overly tight bolt so it was easy enough.

Good enough for me
Every broken fastener is different. That's why you need a variety of different extractors to get them out. As a rule extractors of any design are hard and brittle and prone to breaking, that's life. So far this style of extractor is my preference for the majority of broken fasteners. These work very good in my opinion.

Strong but Brittle
I had a lot of hope with these extractors. With a good variety of sizes, they can cover many scenarios. The straight-tapered extractors (with fairly sharp flutes) are good for more sensitive bolt extraction where the risk of expanding the bolt (or glow plug body!) would result in seizing. Unfortunately for me, the first size extractor was a bit too big and failed to stay engaged. The next size down required more drilling out (of the glow plug). This allowed a deeper engagement, but at the cost of increased seizure risk. I made the mistake of placing the wrench at the end rather than close to the glow plug. The result was a snapped extractor 🤬. For some time now I’ve been in recovery mode trying to extract the extractor—the carbide material is strong but brittle and requires diamond burr abrasion, which is a slow process. Unfortunately, this has not been a time saver.

Saved by the Bell!
Wow wow wow, what could have been bad was saved with the help of this little tool, I was removing my primary clutch plate on my 2024 Harley RG and would you know it (three T27 screw heads striped out) after going online and researching how I'm I going to get these screws out without spending a lot of money at the dealer, well thanks to a Youtube video on this tool from Amazon, I was saved by the bell, I followed the instructions by drilling a hole into the center of the screw and tapped the tool inside as instructed, and even as tight as the screws were, this tool removed all three screws and my day was saved, I can't help but recommend this tool to anyone with minor skills are no skills, it is worth every penny and more, my primary screws have been replaced with hex head screws and I hope I never have to use this tool again, but if I do, I have it in my saddlebag, I wish I had taken photos, but I was just too excited to just have the screws removed, I don't write a lot of reviews, but this tool is AMAZING!

Gets the job done when used the way they are intended to be used.
This set is appropriate for the price. Quality is middle of the road. Sizes are good. They get the job done if you actually know how to use them.

Worked great on a larger sheered tractor bolt
These were a life saver! Take your time and drill incrementally larger holes in the bolt. Apply several coats of WD-40 or Kroil daily at least 24 hours before attempting extraction. Applying occasional heat with a torch isn't a bad idea either. Hammer one of these into the hole and slowly begin to unscrew the busted bolt. Worked great for me!
