FireCan Deluxe Portable Propane Fire Pit and Grill

Used during a fire ban. Cooked up some bratwursts. Switched gas inlets and had a legal fire pit. Worked as expected. Looked nice. Didn’t put off much heat, adding lava rocks helps. Roasted up some fine marshmallows. American company with manufacturing in China. Overall a solid purchase.

This purchase has been the absolute best camping purchase I have ever made. The Firecan works great in fire mode and you can cook on it! I do wish it would get hotter in cook mode but I love this thing!!!!! Great build quality and easy to use.

Everything we were looking for. Not for heat so excellent for summer early fall ambiance at camp. Cooking with included grill was excellent for 2. We are impressed with the stainless steel and workmanship. Well thought out design.

The firecan heats up quick and gets HOT! I definitely recommend cooking smaller pieces of meat to make sure you don't burn the surface while leaving the center under cooked. I purchased this because I wanted a small portable stove to cook for two, and that is exactly what it does. I dropped the rating by one star because the lid can be a bit fiddly. If you are using it as a cover while cooking the locking latch swings freely and some times gets in the way (free moving hot metal is dangerous). It would also have been nice if the cooking surface was a bit farther from the flame, and had less space between the grill bars to prevent food from falling through. All of these are small notes that could be improved if they update the build. I don't recommend the lava stones for cooking, it takes way to long to heat up and turns it more into an oven than a grill. The stones are much better for the fir pit mode.

When the fire restrictions are in place, this self contained fire pit allows you to enjoy the evening after grilling dinner. A simple yet effective LPG connection(s) allows the unit to run a single burner for cooking/grilling and a two burner output for warmth.

Very cool thing to have. Grill isn't big and neither heat output is big but it is very small and portable (ammo can size) in size and adds so so much to your camping experience, we grill sausages, we heat ourselves and/or just watch the fire. I would buy it again and I don't need a bigger size - works perfect for my needs. very high quality build. update: i'm using 1lb propane tank - I now question myself maybe its the 1lb tank not powerful enough to provide gas needed for max heat.

The Ignik fire can is an awesome alternative for Fire Pit and/or grill when the National Park or State Park has a Burn Ban.

I was shocked how very little the flame gets and when you adjust the knob barely any difference for how much this cost very disappointed.
